Operations Supervisor

Work Flexibility: Onsite Operations Supervisor - Stryker Model Farm Road (Shift: Days: Mon - Thurs) Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our Neurovascular facility on Model Farm Road, Cork. Plan and prioritise production to meet customer demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Monitor production output, KPIs, rework, scrap and quality standards, taking action where required. Coach, train and support team members to build skills and achieve their potential. Provide regular feedback and address performance issues fairly, respectfully and promptly. Promote positive employee relations, engagement and open communication across the team. Work with Training to develop training plans and support employee development. Participate in the recruitment and selection of Production Operators. Maintain high standards of GMP, 6S, housekeeping, health and safety. Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Support process improvements and ensure quality standards and procedures are followed. Communicate team and business performance through regular meetings and daily engagement on the production floor. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency. Manage time and attendance, annual leave and overtime planning effectively. Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Degree or Masters in Business, Production Management, Engineering or similar Discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment. 2 years minimum Supervisor experience.. Demonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross functional team. Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety. Genuine interest in investing in people and facilitates individual and team engagement and development. Ability to coach, provide effective feedback and manage performance. #IJ Ireland Pay Ranges: Ireland : €57,000 - €94,000 EUR Annual At Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
