Job Function: Enterprise Management Job Sub Function: Supply Chain Management Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Mumbai, India Job Description: Role Summary The Senior Specialist, Source-to-Contract, APAC, will ensure that the Service Delivery Procurement Source-to-Contract organization delivers results in support of Global Services, OneProcurement and Johnson & Johnson business strategy and objectives. This role works directly with India business stakeholders, category procurement teams and the broader procurement function to execute sourcing and contracting activities with strong user experience, service discipline and compliance focus. The role contributes to and owns the operational execution of prioritized category strategy implementations, sourcing events, contracting cases and critical functional activities relevant to India, while partnering with regional and global teams to standardize processes and improve efficiency. Key Responsibilities Mentor, coach and collaborate with Source-to-Contract analysts supporting India and APAC operations, promoting consistency, quality and timely delivery. Conduct day-to-day Source-to-Contract operations, including sourcing event management, supplier engagement, price and commercial term negotiation, contract drafting, review coordination, execution support and stakeholder management. Deliver commitments in line with agreed SLAs, procurement policies, delegation of authority, legal and compliance requirements, and applicable India business expectations. Partner with India stakeholders and category teams to understand business needs, translate them into sourcing and contracting actions, and support execution of category strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with India business partners, suppliers and functional peers to proactively understand demand, manage expectations and influence outcomes constructively. Support India supplier and market requirements, including supplier onboarding inputs, documentation quality, local commercial practices and coordination with Finance/Tax where contracting or sourcing activity requires local input. Partner with Category Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Finance/Tax, IT, Security and other relevant functions to align sourcing and contracting activities with category strategy, data privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory needs. Drive continuous improvement in user experience, effectiveness, quality and efficiency across assigned S2C processes, with a focus on standardization and simplification. Support automation and AI initiatives in the assigned area of responsibility; act as a product owner or business representative for S2C tools and AI features by gathering requirements, prioritizing needs, testing enhancements and supporting rollout. Support digital requirements discipline by gathering, documenting and translating data needs, data quality expectations, data lineage, integration points and privacy/security controls. Monitor operational performance, identify risks or bottlenecks, escalate issues appropriately and support corrective actions to improve delivery reliability. Promote a culture of compliance, ethical decision-making, transparency, collaboration and continuous learning within the S2C operating model. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree is required. MBA, professional procurement certification or other advanced degree is preferred. Experience and Skills - Required 8-10 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Source-to-Contract, Contract Management or other relevant business experience. Strong understanding of sourcing and contracting processes, supplier engagement, commercial negotiations and Source-to-Settle operations at a high level. Experience working with India stakeholders, suppliers or business operations is strongly preferred for the India-focused role. Strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills; recognized as a constructive team player representing Source-to-Contract across cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments and work in a matrixed regional/global environment. Adaptability and openness to change, with learning agility and a continuous improvement mindset. Comfort with procurement systems, contracting tools, sourcing platforms, reporting dashboards and digital process improvements. Fluency in English, written and oral, is required. Fluency in Hindi or another Indian regional language is preferred where relevant to stakeholder or supplier engagement. Experience and Skills - Preferred Experience in Shared Services, Global Services, procurement operations or a regional delivery center environment. Exposure to India contract coordination, supplier documentation, local commercial terms and collaboration with Legal, Compliance and Finance/Tax teams. Experience supporting automation, AI-enabled process improvements, workflow optimization, knowledge management or procurement tool enhancements. Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, prepare concise updates and recommend practical improvements for service delivery.
