 Job Description Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor team members to ensure compliance with manufacturing documentation and assist with updates to Standard Work Instructions (SWIs). Direct and coordinate daily activities for the assigned work team to meet production goals. Facilitate and support training for associates within designated work areas. Ensure process documentation is accurate, complete, and properly handed off between shifts. Manage attendance reporting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with Production Leads and associates across shifts to share best practices, drive standardization, and ensure seamless shift transitions. Respond to production issues by leading root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and escalating concerns as needed. Coordinate and support equipment upgrades, standardization efforts, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities. Provide guidance to Cutting Associates on proper procedures, methodologies, and operational best practices. Verify machines are configured and operating according to established specifications. Support employee development by responding to training needs and department requests. Proactively identify and address potential problems before they impact production. Provide input on performance evaluations and performance improvement plans. Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and ensure consistent implementation of process changes. Learn and qualify on cutting machine operations and in-process inspections to provide coverage during absences and breaks when necessary. Perform additional duties as required to support business needs. Additional Expectations Ensure manufactured products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Meet or exceed operational objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost. Supervision This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility for associates. Education & Experience Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device industry. Previous Cutting Operator experience preferred.
