Job Description About the role: The Supplier Risk & Resilience Manager delivers day-to-day supplier risk and resilience services for an assigned global supplier, category, or regional portfolio. You will run supplier risk screening and assessments, monitor emerging risk signals, coordinate critical supplier business continuity and resilience reviews, maintain risk and mitigation records, and support disruption response. By turning risk information into practical actions with Procurement and business partners, you will help reduce avoidable disruption, strengthen supplier preparedness, and protect continuity of supply to patients. How you will contribute: Execute onboarding, periodic, event-driven, and enhanced supplier risk assessments in line with the approved segmentation and methodology. Monitor external and internal risk signals, validate alerts, assess possible impact, and escalate material developments promptly. Maintain complete supplier risk profiles, evidence, action plans, decisions, and status reporting in the designated systems. Plan and conduct business continuity and resilience assessments for critical and sole-source suppliers, and track agreed remediation to closure. Coordinate supplier risk reviews with Category Managers, Supplier Managers, business partners, and specialist risk functions. Support critical supply chain mapping, dependency analysis, scenario exercises, and resilience improvement initiatives. Provide incident triage and coordination during supplier disruptions, including action tracking, communications, and post-event review. Produce clear portfolio reporting, identify recurring themes, and recommend improvements to the Lead. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in supplier risk, third-party risk, procurement, supply chain, business continuity, operations, or a related discipline. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Risk Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Hands-on experience conducting risk assessments, due diligence, supplier reviews, or resilience assessments. Experience coordinating mitigation actions and partners in a global matrix organization. Strong analytical and written communication skills, including concise risk reporting. Fluent English, written and spoken. Preferred: Advanced degree or relevant professional certification in risk, supply chain, procurement, audit, or business continuity. Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry. Experience with supplier risk or third-party risk management platforms, external monitoring tools, and dashboard reporting. Experience supporting supplier disruptions, crisis response, or multi-tier supply chain mapping. Skills and competencies: Analytical rigor and attention to detail. Strong organization, follow-through, and process discipline. Clear communication and practical risk storytelling. Collaborative supplier and partner management. Ability to prioritize in a fast-changing environment. Composure and sound judgment during incidents. Digital fluency and commitment to data quality. Integrity and discretion with sensitive information.
