About Site Catalent’s Greenville, North Carolina site is a major oral solid dose development and manufacturing campus, delivering end‑to‑end, turnkey solutions from formulation development through commercial manufacturing and packaging. Position Summary We have an opportunity for a Senior Proposal Lead to join our team. This role supports Business Development teams by managing the scoping, writing, and issuing of proposals for new and existing customer opportunities. You will be responsible for commercial pricing proposals and serve as a key liaison between Business Development, Product Development, and other site teams. This position ensures proposals are accurate, timely, and aligned with legal and operational requirements. Shift: Mon to Fri 8am-5pm Location: Greenville, NC 100% Onsite The Role Prepare development, tech transfer, and pipeline proposals related to customer activities within Catalent facilities, including early phase product development or process change proposals. Design and manage proposals for the site. Process requests for company codes and proposal numbers. Collaborate with internal groups such as legal, business development, Science and Technology, Product Development, Analytical, Quality, and project management to complete quotes and QARs. Work with other Catalent sites to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. Ensure project quotes are within scope and current. Manage proposal development timelines and ensure documents are accurate and delivered on time. Ensure each quote is governed by the correct legal document. Maintain weekly Quotes in Process status and manage other metric tracking as needed. Write Commercial Pricing letters for new opportunities. Generate high-level timelines and provide supporting documents for quotations. Lead complex quotations requiring input from multiple locations or business units and senior leadership. Engage directly with clients regarding quotes in progress and related questions. Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and quality of work. Provide support to the site, Business Development, or Commercial Operations Leadership as needed. Manage Strategic Clients. Participate in cross-functional initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiency and service levels. Work collaboratively and professionally to support or lead global objectives. Serve as lead for mentoring and training new team members. Other duties as assigned. The Candidate Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline. 6+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing, including quality, technical project management, business management, and/or business development. Knowledge of drug product or consumer product development, analytical research and development, project scale-up, product manufacturing, quality, validations, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and financial skills with business acumen. Superior customer service skills and professional demeanor. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written. Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Process-oriented and customer-focused mindset. Mathematical and reasoning ability. Self-motivated, collaborative, and action-oriented with ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization. Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and frequent use of a computer monitor screen.
