(Senior) Regional MSL Manager is field-based position responsible in leading a high-performance Field Medical team(s) that drives enhanced patient outcomes and the safe and effective use of AstraZeneca medicines with prioritization according to company strategy, organizational impact, product pipeline. Ensure excellence in execution, leveraging innovations wherever appropriate, of the local Medical Affairs strategic plans through the Field Medical team(s) composed of confidence and evidence generation activities. Have a deep understanding of the local healthcare system, its priorities, and challenges and lead the team with an Integrated Engagement Plan to gather insights and drive fundamental and sustainable clinical practice transformations in alignment with the Medical Affairs strategy and the company’s portfolio that strengthen healthcare ecosystems, improve treatment outcomes, that enable patient access to quality care. Enhancing professional relationships and partnerships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and other healthcare ecosystem stakeholders according to the Integrated Engagement Plan. Provides scientific, technical, and pharmaco-economic information to HCPs and key stakeholders through one-on-one discussions and medically lead meetings as experts and via confidence & evidence generation activities. Lead evidence generation activities as part of the implementation of the medical strategy. Act as manager, coach, and leader to the field medical team(s) by providing operational guidance along with skills & capabilities training in accordance with the global/ local standards and relevant Job Descriptions. Drive operational excellence, impact, and efficiencies through measurable outcomes and a continuous improvement approach. Communicate on the quality delivery and value of the Medical Affairs team with good understanding of the internal business ecosystem (strategy, model, finances) and act as a key member of the local Medical Affairs team that contributes to the planning and execution of Medical Affairs strategies, working closely with the local medical and cross-functional teams.
