A Day in the Life This role supports manufacturing operations at the North Haven, Connecticut site, with responsibility for leading operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives across production areas. The Manufacturing Program Manager partners with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, and finance teams to translate business objectives into actionable programs that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) performance. This position is based onsite in North Haven, CT, working standard business hours, five days per week. Travel requirements are expected to be minimal and primarily site-based unless otherwise specified. The Manufacturing Program Manager provides leadership for operational excellence initiatives that improve manufacturing performance, optimize resource utilization, and support achievement of business objectives. This role combines manufacturing operations leadership, program management, analytics, and financial decision-making to identify improvement opportunities, drive execution of strategic priorities, and deliver sustainable operational results across the site. Primary Responsibilities Lead deployment and execution of operational excellence initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) performance. Translate site and business objectives into actionable programs, projects, and performance improvement plans. Prioritize production activities and schedules based on product introductions, manufacturing capacity, equipment performance, and material availability. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align resources, remove barriers, and accelerate execution of key manufacturing initiatives. Develop and monitor operational metrics, analytics, and performance reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Manage production-related budgets and provide recommendations regarding capital investments, labor planning, and resource allocation. Develop staffing plans, workforce requirements, and organizational capabilities to support current and future operational needs. Drive continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of manufacturing, operations, program management, or continuous improvement experience; or Advanced degree and 3+ years of manufacturing, operations, program management, or continuous improvement experience. Experience leading cross-functional projects, programs, or operational improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Experience utilizing data analytics and performance metrics to drive operational decision-making and business results. Experience managing production, operational, or functional resources, including budgets, staffing plans, or capital investment recommendations. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries. Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies to improve business performance. Knowledge of machining and manufacturing technologies. Experience developing and presenting operational, financial, and performance analyses to leadership teams. Proficiency with manufacturing systems, data analysis tools, and productivity software applications. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
