 Job Description General Summary Material Handler II I is responsible for the safe, accurate lo ading and unloading of product within the distribution center. Uses ERP systems requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of movement of materials. May prepare goods for final shipment. May prepare , coordinate , and execute documentation for final shipment for domestic and international. Will handle material either inbound or outbound based on business needs. Th e following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position. Duties and Responsibilities Pallet/Case Picking Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes. Pick, pack and process orders. Processing orders through RF technology. Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions. Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP. Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Pallet Build Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets. Re-palletizing products for shipment. May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper. May be required to transport pallets by MHE. Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Movement Uses ERP systems requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of movement of materials. May prepare goods for final shipment. May prepare, coordinate, and execute documentation for final shipment for domestic and international. Will handle material either inbound or outbound based on business needs. Inbound/Outbound shipments are to be loaded/unloaded utilizing the WMS Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damages. Completes all assigned duties in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and following department procedures. Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations. Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions. Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles . Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP. Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May train and implement functions in SAP . Required to maintain current status in C2C training modules .
