Material Planner

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain plans, forecasts, and schedules for material requirements to support operational needs. Work closely with suppliers and internal plant support teams to ensure activities are clearly defined and executed effectively. Monitor daily delivery plans to ensure alignment with schedules and promptly highlight any discrepancies. Create purchase requisitions with consideration of request dates, component availability, capacity constraints, and other resources required to support on‑time delivery. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date material master data in SAP (MRP views). Forecast raw material and component requirements and communicate plans to buyers and suppliers. Collaborate with Receiving and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure timely release of raw materials, including coordinating and scheduling meetings as required. Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels and support actions to optimize inventory performance. What Can You Bring to Alcon: Bachelor’s degree holder. Strong understanding of material planning. Good understanding of SAP ERP is preferred. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English. Strong data analysis skills.
