Job Description National Immunisation Manager Permanent full-time position with competitive remuneration and benefits Based in Sydney , Australia (Macquarie Park) Contribute to the delivery of Australia’s National Immunisation Program in a high-impact, strategic role Collaborate with a supportive, cross-functional team across commercial, policy, medical, and supply functions Looking for a new challenge where you can apply your vaccines, policy, and commercial expertise? Reporting into the Vaccines Business Unit Director, you will play a critical role working with the vaccines commercial and policy teams to ensure vaccines are effectively implemented as part of the broader National Immunisation Strategy. This role will manage relationships with state jurisdictions and support Commonwealth discussions with the Business Unit Director. You will also play a key role in responding to Request for Tenders, managing state and national tenders across the portfolio, and supporting execution of the Australia National Immunisation Program Vaccines Strategy in line with company priorities and key government stakeholder needs. You will be a role model, visibly demonstrating our company values and expectations to internal employees and external stakeholders. We are looking for someone with strategic agility, commercial acumen, and strong communication and influencing skills, as this role requires broad stakeholder management in a complex matrix environment. What You Will Do Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Track and report monthly stock movements and ensure NIP vaccine agreement terms are met Collaborate with Federal, State and Territory jurisdictions to ensure efficient availability and management of company vaccines through relevant tenders and contracts Contribute to the business’s overall approach to national vaccine and pharmaceutical tenders Ensure tender submissions for publicly funded vaccine programs align with population health policies and key immunisation stakeholder needs Assess the impact of policy and regulatory matters on the vaccine environment and their implications for the company Work with commercial, government affairs, and medical teams to define the strategic focus of the NIP business Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, including program managers and technical experts Maintain oversight of key internal vaccine tender platforms and collaborate with global and local commercial stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasts Scope and position future vaccines for broader state and national programs Maximise the vaccine portfolio through effective policy strategies and government relationships Manage demand forecasting and supply for all NIP vaccines, with clear communication to internal stakeholders to ensure accurate supply commitments aligned to forecast Be the key contact for PHNs and identify opportunities for our company to partake in PHN activities aligned with our company’s Vaccines vision of increasing uptake What You Must Have Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in science, health, pharmacy, public health, or a related discipline Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with vaccines, public health, tendering, or government stakeholder engagement highly regarded We Are Looking For An experienced and strategic commercial leader with experience in a similar role Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, including government relationship management Vaccines experience and an understanding of the Australian National Immunisation Program and healthcare landscape preferred Experience designing, developing, and delivering health-related programs for consumers and healthcare professionals Strong analytical, strategic thinking, critical appraisal, and problem-solving skills Proven team leadership and motivation skills Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences Strong influencing, conflict management, and stakeholder management skills What You Can Expect A high-impact role at the centre of Australia’s National Immunisation Program strategy Exposure to complex government, policy , and commercial stakeholder engagement The opportunity to shape tender strategy, portfolio execution , and future vaccine positioning Close collaboration with commercial, policy, medica l, and supply teams in a matrix environment The chance to influence meaningful public health outcomes through vaccine access and program delivery Support from a global pharmaceutical organisation with opportunities to grow your expertise and broaden your impact We are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing talented and committed people together.
