Internship IBEX Process Development Downstream 80-100%

The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. For our unique mammalian manufacturing and development concept, we are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) in our team in Mammalian Purification Development. In this role, you will work hands-on in our state-of-the art laboratories and interact with international, cross-functional teams to develop purification processes for the manufacture of novel biotherapeutics. This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. What you'll do: Performs experiments using chromatography and membrane separation techniques Contributes to the execution and documentation of project-specific downstream process development activities Collects, summarizes, analyses data to prepare development reports and presentations, as appropriate What we are looking for: Bachelor / Master-Student Preferred area of study: Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related disciplines Good biotechnology expertise and/or knowledge in the area of downstream process development; Good communication skills Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions; high motivation and dynamic drive; Excellent English and basic German is required About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
