JOB DESCRIPTION: About the Role We are seeking an experienced Finance Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and tax compliance activities, in accordance with local regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. You will play a key role in financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax processes, audit support, and continuous improvement initiatives, while partnering closely with Finance and business stakeholders. Core Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Prepare and review statutory financial statements. Reconcile financial accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy. Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations (OMFP) and IFRS requirements. Tax Compliance Calculate, review, and report tax obligations, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other local taxes. Prepare and submit periodic tax returns and statutory filings. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization. Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and internal controls. Audit & Process Improvement Support internal, external, statutory, and tax audits. Maintain accurate documentation and internal procedures. Contribute to improvements in financial reporting and tax processes. Support ERP implementation and enhancement initiatives. Partner with Controlling, FP&A, and other stakeholders on financial projects and reporting requirements. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations. Knowledge of OMFP and/or IFRS reporting standards. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, iScala, or similar) is preferred. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax, and financial reporting. Proven experience in tax compliance, statutory reporting, and account reconciliations. Strong knowledge of local tax and accounting legislation. Understanding of end-to-end accounting processes, including AP, AR, and General Ledger. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Fluency in Romanian and English.
