Role Overview: The Alzheimer’s opportunity is one of the most exciting we have seen in the history of Lilly. Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is one of the leading causes of death in the UK, with no current medications for cure or prevention. Lilly has 30+ years of investment in AD research and development across both therapeutics and diagnostics. The UK ecosystem is not ready to implement disease-modifying medications at this time and has no defined diagnostic pathway for patients with early Alzheimer's Disease. The role of the Alzheimer's Diagnostics Brand Manager is to prepare the ecosystem to support accurate and timely diagnoses of Alzheimer’s Disease. They will help HCPs see the value of biomarker diagnostic tools to confirm AD diagnosis and unlock the ability to diagnose patients earlier and more accurately. The Alzheimer's Diagnostics Brand Manager will implement strategies to increase the use of cognitive assessments, blood biomarkers, CSF biomarkers, and PET tracers. The successful Marketing candidate will need to work closely and in strong collaboration with key cross functional stakeholders across Global, IBU and local colleagues to deliver on the key diagnostic priorities. This individual will need to work with several other enabling functions including PRA, Medical, OCE, Regulatory, Finance, E&C, sales, Corporate Affairs, IBU, Global. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Diagnostic strategy : Be the commercial subject matter expert of the diagnostic landscape for Alzheimer’s in the UK and Ireland, competitor efforts and the needs of patients, caregivers, physicians and payers Develop and implement initiatives to increase the use of cognitive assessments, blood biomarkers, CSF biomarkers, and PET tracers, in both the private and public market, working in close partnership with PRA, B2B, and field teams Partner with B2B and field teams to unlock diagnostic readiness and volume at the HCO/site level Develop compliant private and public market diagnostic package solutions with healthcare organizations (HCOs) and implement in partnership with field teams Develop localised diagnostic education marketing materials for brand and field execution from the Global diagnostic strategy that drive belief and behaviour change across customer specialties (GP, OAP, Neurologists) Own and execute diagnostic manufacturer partnerships as the primary commercial point of contact, partnering closely with PRA, B2B, and field teams on strategy and pull-through of all collaborative diagnostic plans — including efforts to boost blood-based biomarker (BBM) and diagnostic awareness and adoption Partner with PRA team to align and execute on the Dx access strategy Provide commercial point of view when and where appropriate on diagnostic development and label discussions Lead digital cognitive assessment and blood based biomarker market research and develop the associated action plan following read-out Develop, aggregate, and report on all diagnostics activities and usage data; facilitate data integration from lab and private site data purchase agreements and BI&A Operations & Execution Excellence: Responsible for understanding, implementation, and adherence to company policies, processes, and external obligations, as applicable Operate in compliance with the Red Book, Customer Information Quality (CIQ) procedures and tools, and all Compliance procedures As a Veeva Brand Coordinator, upload content in Veeva and review key content creation and discontinuation in accordance with the PMAP procedure. Ensure that all programs are 100% compliant to ABPI Code of Practice, local SOPs, and GPP. Work closely with the Medical Technical certifier and incorporate suggested changes as needed Key Experience: Proven ability to build strong B2B relationships and drive commercial collaborations at a senior/professional level Marketing experience gained in pharmaceutical or consumer sectors, we're open to backgrounds outside of pharma Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while solving problems on the fly Proven ability to build and manage relationships with external partner organizations Skilled at leading and influencing cross-functionally, including without formal authority Strategic thinker, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving innovative, customer-focused solutions Resilient and adaptable, with a proactive approach to change Strong attention to detail, particularly in mark
