As a Senior Manager, Project Management at ICON, you will be responsible for leading project management initiatives that ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of clinical trials. What You Will Do: Your focus will be on overseeing project and programme management delivery, coaching your team, and driving continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing project management frameworks and methodologies that align with ICON's strategic goals and enhance project outcomes. Overseeing the planning and execution of clinical trial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Leading and mentoring a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to drive project success and professional development. Monitoring project performance metrics and risk indicators to proactively address issues and ensure alignment with client expectations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and ensure seamless integration of project activities. Your Profile: You will have a strong background in project and programme management, with proven management experience and a commitment to quality delivery. Required qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field Extensive experience in project management within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industries. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Willingness to travel as required (approximately 35%) Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
