As a Sr. Associate III, Surgical Field Sales supporting Alcon's Surgical Sales team across Montreal North, Southshore Laval, Outaouais and Abitibi, you will be trusted to partner with surgical accounts and eye care professionals to support the adoption and growth of Alcon's cataract and refractive technologies. You will combine clinical and technical expertise, account planning, education, and practice-development support to help customers deliver strong patient outcomes and build sustainable business growth. In this role, a typical day will include: Partner with Surgical Account Managers to develop and execute account-specific business plans for targeted hospitals, surgical centres, clinics, and ophthalmology practices. Provide clinical and technical education to ophthalmologists, nurses, technicians, and operating-room staff on Alcon intraocular lenses, advanced-technology intraocular lenses, cataract and refractive procedures, and related diagnostic technologies. Support customers with patient selection, biometry and power calculations, keratometry, intraocular lens selection, workflow considerations, and reimbursement-related questions within the scope of the role. Deliver product presentations and post-launch training that build customer confidence and support the successful adoption of new and assigned products. Help surgeons and accounts understand the clinical and business value of Alcon cataract and refractive solutions through targeted account planning and consultative support. Provide practice-development services, including practice assessments, customer-service reviews, operational-efficiency and scheduling reviews, strategic planning, and internal and external marketing support. Build and maintain trusted customer relationships by responding promptly to requests, identifying training needs, and coordinating appropriate follow-up with internal partners. Develop a structured territory plan and routing schedule for Montreal North, Southshore, Laval, Outaouais and Abitibi, prioritizing accounts with the greatest clinical and business opportunity. Monitor account activity and key performance indicators, maintain accurate customer relationship management records, and complete required administrative tasks in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support regional marketing plans, product launches, continuing medical education activities, conferences, and local customer events. Use company resources, funds, and time responsibly while working toward territory sales objectives and contributing to broader regional and national goals. Travel throughout the territory and participate in occasional evening or weekend customer events, conferences, meetings, and training as required. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education. 3-5 years of pharmaceutical, medical device, surgical, or healthcare sales experience. Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. Strong knowledge of cataract procedures, diagnostic testing, ocular optics, and the clinical use of intraocular lenses, or the ability to quickly develop this expertise. Strong presentation, consultative selling, negotiation, organization, and networking skills. Demonstrated business acumen and analytical ability, with a strong focus on customer needs, details, and results. Ability to build credibility quickly with ophthalmologists and clinical teams in a high-expectation environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel, and experience using a computerized sales administration or customer relationship management system. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively across a broader sales and support team. Valid driver's licence and ability to travel regularly within Montreal North, Laval, and Lanaudière. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor of Science, business, marketing, finance, or a related field. Three to five years of ophthalmic surgical sales experience. Experience in cataract, refractive surgery, practice development, or advanced-technology intraocular lenses. Professional background as an optometrist, optician, ophthalmic technician, nurse, or another relevant eye-care professional combined with commercial experience. Experience supporting product launches, clinical education, or operating-room stakeholders. Dans ce rôle, une journée typique comprendra : Travailler en partenariat avec les gestionnaires de comptes chirurgicaux afin d'élaborer et d'exécuter des plans d'affaires propres aux hôpitaux, centres chirurgicaux, cliniques et pratiques d'ophtalmologie ciblés.
