As an Analytical Expert, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering innovative analytical strategies that support the development of radioligand drug substances and drug products. Job Description Location: Ivrea, Italy #LI-Hybrid Relocation Support: This role is based in Ivrea, Italy. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support: please only apply if accessible. Major accountabilities: Design, execute, interpret, and report analytical studies supporting radioligand therapy development projects. Develop, validate, transfer, and maintain analytical methods to agreed quality and timeline standards. Coordinate analytical activities and align strategy with cross-functional development project teams. Provide scientific expertise and share analytical best practices across teams and functions. Support formulation and process development through robust analytical testing and data interpretation. Author analytical documentation supporting development, regulatory, and quality requirements. Contribute to specification setting and analytical strategy throughout product development stages. Support analytical method transfers to manufacturing sites and radiopharmacy partners. Essential Requirements Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related scientific discipline. Minimum two years of industry experience in analytical chemistry, radiochemistry development, or quality control. Experience developing and applying analytical methods, including High Performance Liquid Chromatography. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and quality standards supporting drug development. Experience authoring Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls documentation for regulatory submissions. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and scientific technical writing skills. Understanding of the safe handling of chemicals, laboratory materials, and equipment. Fluent English, both written and spoken is required. Desirable Skills Fluency in Italian would be an advantage. Expected annual base salary range for this position: €33,500 to €62,100. Base salary is determined using gender-neutral criteria such as relevant skills, competencies, and experience, in accordance with Novartis compensation policies, and is reviewed regularly after joining Novartis. In addition to the base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus, depending on established performance criteria.
