Job Description Job Title: Medical Supervisor Location: Based in Taipei, Taiwan About the role: This position is primarily responsible for sales activities across Taipei City and New Taipei City markets and also business objectives for Rare disease and IBD field. The Sales Supervisor is responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, this role involves people enablement and team capability building, which include coaching a team of junior sales professionals and best practices sharing to achieve business objectives for designated brands and therapeutic areas within the assigned territories. The Sales Supervisor plays a crucial role in navigating the team through moderately complex challenges and contributing to Takeda's mission of bringing better health to people and a brighter future to the world by translating patients’ unmet medical needs, healthcare providers’ prescription behaviors, and market dynamics into holistic and robust territory management plans. Lead team to commit and achieve business goals and objectives Goal setting: Establish clear, measurable goals and objectives for the team that align with overall business objectives and targets. Performance tracking: Monitor and evaluate team performance against set goals, providing regular and quality feedback and coaching. Motivation and engagement: Foster a positive and motivating work environment to encourage team collaboration and innovation. Training and development: Provide ongoing training and support to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to perform the accountabilities. Conflict resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the team promptly and effectively. Collect and analyze market and customer insights Customer feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from healthcare providers to identify areas of opportunities to address and support patients’ unmet medical needs. Data analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to interpret market and customer insights, generating actionable recommendations. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on market and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making. Trend identification: Identify emerging trends and shifts in the market to proactively adjust territory management strategies. Execute territory development plan without compliance violation Plan implementation: Develop and execute territory development plans to achieve business targets while adhering to compliance regulations. Compliance training: Ensure all team members are trained on relevant compliance policies and procedures. Monitoring: Regularly monitor commercial activities to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of commercial activities, customer interactions, and transactions to ensure transparency and accountability. Risk management: Identify and mitigate any potential compliance risks in commercial operations. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive patient-centric solutions Cross-function collaboration: Work closely with marketing, medical affairs, and other relevant departments to align patient-centric solutions with cohesive, effective and innovative execution that address patients’ unmet medical needs and access to treatment. Project management: Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing patient care and satisfaction. EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, and COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS: Education Bachelor degree or above with major in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Immunology or Biotechnology Working Experience At least 8-10 years of solid commerical experience with specialty products or related TAs in MNC pharmaceutical company and life science industry. 3+ years of people leadership experience is preferred.
