Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daytoday operations within a highthroughput analytical laboratory. This role provides firstline leadership to laboratory staff, ensuring testing activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.  The ideal candidate will combine strong technical laboratory expertise with handson team leadership, supporting timely data delivery while maintaining Eurofins’ high standards for scientific integrity and quality.  Key Responsibilities  Laboratory Operations  Supervise daily laboratory activities to ensure analyses are conducted according to approved methods, SOPs, and client requirements  Monitor sample flow, workload balance, and turnaround time (TAT) to meet operational targets  Provide technical support and guidance to analysts and technicians as required  Participate in routine analysis during peak periods to ensure service commitments are met  Quality & Compliance  Ensure adherence to ISO/IEC 17025, internal quality systems, and regulatory standards  Review analytical data, calculations, and documentation for accuracy and completeness  Identify, document, and escalate nonconformances, deviations, and outofspecification results  In collaboration with laboratory management, halt testing when quality or data integrity is compromised  People Leadership  Lead, coach, and mentor laboratory staff to support competency development and performance  Coordinate staffing schedules and assignments to maintain effective laboratory operations  Support onboarding, training, and method competency signoffs  Contribute to performance feedback and team development initiatives  Systems & Documentation  Ensure accurate and timely data entry, sample tracking, and reporting using LIMS  Maintain uptodate documentation including SOPs, training records, and operational logs  Support internal and external audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives  Required Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry or a related scientific discipline  Minimum 2–5 years of laboratory experience in an analytical testing environment  Previous experience in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role preferred  Strong working knowledge of SOPdriven laboratories and quality systems  Experience with LIMS and highvolume sample processing environments  Excellent organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills  Preferred Qualifications  Experience in food, environmental, pharmaceutical, or contract testing laboratories  Exposure to ISO 17025 accreditation  Ability to lead teams in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment  At Eurofins we offer excellent full-time benefits including health & dental coverage, life and disability insurance, RRSP with 3% company match, paid holidays, paid time off.
