Location/Division Specific Information: Located in Geel, Belgium, this role is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Laboratory Chemicals Division. Focusing on delivering world-class solutions and ensuring flawless operations. How Will You Make an Impact?: Join us as a Material Handler II and contribute to our success by picking, packing, and labeling chemicals accurately. The impact you will have could be anything from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to helping a nurse care for a patient optimally because they have the right equipment. A Day in the Life: Perform picking, packing, and labeling activities in accordance with safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards. Use packaging materials and resources efficiently to minimize waste. Handle and dispose of waste streams according to established procedures. Contribute ideas for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting. Plus: Experience in a cGMP environment. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Safe, efficient, and accurate work practices. Collegial attitude and collaborative spirit. Basic understanding of chemistry is advantageous. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to lift and move materials as needed. Work in a manufacturing environment with adherence to safety standards.
