Job Description: Endpoint Management Specialist Location: London, UK Working Type: Hybrid Working Summary & Purpose of the Position The Global Workplace team is responsible for the operation, management, and continuous improvement of the company’s endpoint management platforms and technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure endpoint solutions aligned with business objectives. Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of MECM. Experience managing an OS image for large corporate environments, including deployment and knowledge of OSD & Autopilot. Extensive experience in Software Distribution, Packaging, Patching & Imaging. Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure VDI & Defender EDR. Extensive experience in Mobile Device Management. Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives. Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies. Direct the day-to-day operational responsibilities to IPSEN IT services partners. Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups. Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to, reoccurrences. Provide third-level technical support for core business applications. This often requires management and coordination of outside vendors and internal subject matter experts. Resolve all tickets escalated from the service desk, including administrative activities, and provide a status report. Knowledge & Experience Essential Endpoint management solutions: Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Apple Business Manager. Endpoint Encryption: Microsoft BitLocker or other enterprise tools. Enterprise Endpoint Security Solutions: Microsoft Defender EDR, McAfee, etc. Microsoft Office 365 and Entra AD. IT Asset Management: ServiceNow, Flexera, etc. Microsoft PowerPoint, Project & Visio. Enterprise-level knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, specifically Windows 11. Knowledge of desktop virtualization and thin client technologies, including Azure VDI. Scripting using WQL, SQL and PowerShell. Preferred Customer service focused with a professional and positive attitude. Ensure the effective and timely implementation of all security standards provided by Global IT and Global Security. Purchasing management experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ideally, experience in contract management. Confident in organizing own workload effectively, efficiently and independently. Ability to deal with several tasks at once while maintaining high standards. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a busy workload. Education & Certifications Essential Technical certifications desired, including Microsoft Intune or Azure. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5+ years of related experience.
