The Position Roche Diagnostics India Role Purpose Lead marketing strategy and execution for Roche’s One Oncology portfolio in India, spanning Immunology, Molecular and Tissue diagnostics, with dedicated focus on Pathology, Foundation Medicine and Next‑Generation Sequencing (NGS).Drive brand growth, portfolio expansion, and KOL engagement to strengthen Roche’s leadership in precision oncology and advanced diagnostics. Key Responsibilities 1) Product & Portfolio Marketing Co-create and implement integrated marketing plans for the One Roche Oncology portfolio (Immunology, Molecular and Tissue diagnostics), explicitly including Foundation Medicine and NGS solutions. Drive, manage and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns; monitor impact on focus parameters in oncology, primary and medical value antibodies, priority instrument sales, and adoption of tissue diagnostics, Foundation Medicine and NGS. Lead new product launches and strengthen the current portfolio across pathology, tissue diagnostics, Foundation Medicine and NGS. Evaluate and assess potential new launches to further expand the portfolio in pathology and molecular/NGS spaces. Strengthen and develop KOL advocates (Pathologists, Medical Oncologists and Molecular Genetic Experts)to drive clinical and commercial impact amongst key stakeholders. Develop crisp, impactful marketing collaterals for labs, clinicians, internal sales and RPS teams in collaboration with MSA, RA and Comms. Initiate and monitor digital outreach campaigns to clinicians and labs via partnerships with external digital platforms, highlighting tissue diagnostics, Foundation Medicine and NGS value propositions. Lead DA‑relevant conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions to strengthen partnerships and visibility in pathology and precision oncology. Own awareness programs and lead generation initiatives. Represent the affiliate in best‑practice sharing at APAC and global forums, especially in pathology, tissue diagnostics and NGS/FM. Define and track marketing KPIs (brand awareness, share of voice, campaign ROI, lead quality, NPS, etc.) and use insights to optimize plans. 2) Liaising & Networking Work closely with external vendors, Logistics, RA, MSA, RPS, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions for: - Marketing materials and inventory management - Product registration and product‑related notifications - Pricing, audits and compliance requirements across pathology, tissue diagnostics, Foundation Medicine and NGS portfolios. Partner with Global/Regional Marketing and Medical Affairs to ensure alignment on brand strategy, scientific narratives, and launch plans. Ensure all promotional activities comply with company policies, local regulations and industry codes (e.g., UCPMP and equivalent). 3) Commercial & Market Intelligence Conduct market research to gather specific insights on Roche’s value proposition via customer questionnaires and focus groups. Survey competitive prices, demand patterns, and product value in oncology, tissue diagnostics and NGS/FM segments. Translate insights into actionable strategies for portfolio prioritization, positioning and go‑to‑market plans. Maintain a living competitive intelligence repository (product, pricing, claims, campaigns) and share regular updates with sales and leadership. 4) Customer & Sales Enablement Drive monthly competitor‑attack campaigns with ready reckoners for sales and RPS. Conduct marketing and scientific training programs for internal and external stakeholders, followed by evaluation and monitoring. Collaborate with sales colleagues to retain and grow top customers and convert new opportunities in pathology, tissue diagnostics and NGS/FM. Collaborate with the CVS team to drive focus‑parameter revenue at target hospitals. Assist labs/hospitals in co‑branding opportunities for focus parameters. Develop and drive differentiated marketing plans for government stakeholders in collaboration with sales. Build sales enablement toolkits (pitch decks, objection handlers, case studies, ROI calculators) tailored to pathology, tissue diagnostics and NGS/FM. 5) People, Budget & Governance Provide marketing leadership and mentorship to junior marketing/brand team members and/or agency partners as applicable. Own the marketing budget for the pathology/FM/NGS portfolio: planning, allocation, tracking, and ROI analysis. Establish a marketing governance rhythm(monthly/quarterly reviews) with Sales, Medical, Market Access and Finance to review performance, risks and opportunities. Drive capability building within the team (training on NGS/FM, scientific storytelling, digital marketing, analytics). Who You Are A proven marketing leader with a considerable track record in the healthcare/diagnostics industry, ideally in oncology, pathology or molecular diagnostics. Degree educated (or equivalent) in engineering, life sciences, marketing or a related field; MBA/BBA in Marketing preferred. Demonstrated success in: - Developing and executing high‑impact marketing strategies - Building strong relationships with key stakeholders up to the highest decision‑making levels - Delivering measurable business outcomes in a matrix environment - Managing budgets and agencies and leading/mentoring junior talent A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to prioritize, drive change, and adopt new concepts in pathology and precision medicine. Confident and passionate communicator with excellent written and verbal skills; able to translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, compelling narratives. Resilient and tenacious; thrives under pressure in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines. Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with technical and scientific information across tissue diagnostics, Foundation Medicine and NGS.
