Olink panels provide innovative, high-quality solutions for human protein biomarker discovery, enabling researchers to measure thousands of proteins simultaneously from just a few microliters of blood. Using highly specific and thoroughly validated assays with a wide dynamic range, Olink’s technology overcomes traditional limitations in protein analysis and supports deeper insights into human biology and disease. Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with knowledge of AWS to contribute to the development of our internal data and analytics platform. The platform support our R&D organisation with advanced analysis tooling and data processing. In the role as Data Engineer, you will be part of a team focusing both on the core part of the platform and data ingestion pipelines as well as contributing to the development of advanced analysis tools and automations in cross functional initiatives. You will work and closely collaborate with our AI analysis team and software development team. This role is based in our Uppsala office. A day in the Life: Implement a robust and scalable environment in AWS using best practices whenever applicable. Design and develop robust data pipelines for ingestion and transformations Model and design for optimized data processing performance, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders Contribute with up-to-date industry standards, trends, and advancements in the data engineering field, applying new techniques and technologies as appropriate. Requirements: Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role. Familiarity with data modelling, data warehousing, and big data technologies. Strong programming skills in Python or C# is desired Background in the biotech industry is beneficial Experience with AWS services is beneficial Knowledge of Databricks is beneficial Why Join Us?
