The CoE combines functional expertise, process excellence, data, digital technology and global talent to improve performance, productivity and controls. The role balances reliable service delivery with enterprise transformation, builds scalable capabilities and develops an inclusive, high-performing leadership culture. Leadership Priorities Strategic leadership: Set direction and deliver enterprise outcomes with pace. Transformation leadership: Drive Global Finance transformation, resolving priorities, dependencies and resource conflicts across programs, including Takami. GBS leadership: Lead complex, multi-site operations with discipline and continuous improvement. Stakeholder engagement: Influence and align senior stakeholders across Corporate, Global Finance and Takeda in Poland. Communication and change leadership: Communicate with clarity to build alignment, commitment and momentum. How You Will Contribute Enterprise Finance Strategy and Leadership Define and execute the vision, strategy and operating model for the Global Finance CoE as a strategic capability and transformation platform. Align priorities with Takeda’s Finance strategy, enterprise objectives and commitment to patients. Provide enterprise thought leadership on the future of Finance, Procurement and global capabilities. Global Finance Service Delivery Deliver high-quality, compliant, resilient and cost-effective Finance and Procurement services globally. Establish clear accountability for service performance, customer experience and value realization. Use disciplined governance, transparent KPIs and benchmarks to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Finance Transformation and Operating Model Evolution Simplify, standardize and harmonize end-to-end Finance and Procurement processes, with clear ownership and decision rights. Redesign processes, roles and capabilities around enterprise outcomes while balancing business context and proximity needs. Execute transformation with pace and discipline while protecting business continuity. Digital Transformation, AI and Innovation Set and lead an AI-first digital agenda for Finance and Procurement. Scale automation, analytics, digital workflows and emerging technologies against measurable business outcomes. Build enterprise capability in AI adoption, data literacy, product thinking and digital innovation. Deploy reusable horizontal capabilities, including operations excellence, process mining and transition management, in partnership with Digital and Technology. Enterprise Productivity and Value Realization Deliver measurable productivity and value through process transformation, automation and operating-model optimization. Optimize scope, demand, capacity, skills, location and sourcing while balancing cost, risk and business proximity. Establish transparent value tracking and deliver sustainable commitments without compromising service, controls or critical capabilities. Stakeholder Management and Business Partnership Build trusted partnerships with the Chief Financial Officer, Finance Leadership Team, Business Unit CFOs, Corporate Finance and Global Functions. Translate business needs into scalable capabilities and services with shared accountability for outcomes. Influence through insight, commercial judgement and delivery; constructively challenge demand and established practices. Strengthen the CoE value proposition and scale capabilities that create enterprise value. Governance, Compliance and Risk Management Maintain strong governance, controls, compliance, audit readiness, data integrity and operational resilience. Partner with Finance, Risk and Controls leaders to strengthen assurance. Oversee outsourced services, third-party providers and critical dependencies. Talent, Culture and Organizational Development Lead an inclusive, high-performing global organization with clear goals, rigorous accountability and a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Build leadership depth, succession pipelines and future-ready process, digital, data, AI, risk and business-partnering capabilities. Shape the organization and workforce with clarity and respect, including through restructuring when required. Create followership across cultures through purpose, transparency, empowerment and caring leadership. </ul
