We are seeking a strategic, collaborative Precision Medicine & Diagnostics Lead to drive our Precision Medicine strategy across the Baltics and help ensure patients receive the right diagnostic testing and treatments at the right time. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of oncology, collaborating with healthcare leaders, diagnostic experts, and cross-functional teams to advance precision medicine and improve patient outcomes. What you'll do As the Precision Medicine & Diagnostics Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Baltics precision medicine and diagnostics strategy, aligned with global priorities and future oncology launches. You will play a critical role in embedding diagnostic solutions into local healthcare pathways, supporting reimbursement strategies, and ensuring launch readiness across AstraZeneca's oncology portfolio. Key responsibilities Strategy & Business Performance Lead the diagnostics strategy across AstraZeneca's oncology portfolio within the Baltic region. Drive delivery of key diagnostic KPIs, including testing rates and biomarker positivity rates aligned with international guidelines. Ensure timely implementation of high-quality companion diagnostic and testing solutions across all oncology therapeutic areas. Generate and communicate diagnostic performance insights to guide strategic decision-making. Support commercial teams in building diagnostic knowledge and capability. Launch Excellence Lead diagnostic and precision medicine planning for current and future oncology launches. Support Key Account Managers and Therapeutic Area Specialists in establishing effective diagnostic pathways within priority accounts. Contribute to early asset planning and healthcare system preparedness for emerging treatments and testing solutions. External Partnership Development Build and maintain strong relationships with molecular pathologists, geneticists, oncologists, laboratory leaders, and other diagnostic stakeholders. Identify barriers to testing and work collaboratively with partners to improve patient access to innovative diagnostics. Represent AstraZeneca as a thought leader within the oncology diagnostics community. Cross-Functional Leadership Lead diagnostic reimbursement strategy and execution, working closely with Medical, Market Access, Commercial, and Franchise teams. Foster collaboration across the Baltic cluster and wider organization to create a unified precision medicine vision. Build networks within the regional and broader diagnostics community. What we're looking for Essential qualifications & experience Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline. Experience within an innovative pharmaceutical company. Strong oncology experience. Proven leadership experience working within cross-functional teams. Ability to translate scientific knowledge and stakeholder insights into patient-centered strategies. Strong project leadership capabilities with experience managing multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences. Experience adapting global strategies to meet local market needs. Ability to set strategic objectives and drive execution. Experience managing budgets and organisational processes. Additional requirements Fluent English language skills, native language speaker in one of the Baltic Countries Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Valid driving licence.
