Position Summary We have an opportunity for a Process Technician to join our team. In this role, you will develop skills in your primary area and a secondary area, becoming a specialist in one and supporting others. You will assist in maintaining production schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the success of our operations. Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM; potential to transition to 12-hour shifts in the future Location: Adair, ON 100% Onsite The Role Minimise equipment downtime and improve equipment availability by being accountable for delivering and reducing machine turnaround time. Ensure the team consistently sets and upholds site safety best practices by demonstrating zero-tolerance behaviors, continually challenging and raising safety standards, and eliminating risk to employees, products, and the environment through active participation in safety and accident investigations and completion of high-quality, current risk assessments. Ensure batch manufacturing records are accurately completed in real time to support timely documentation approval, with processes and procedures including online and in‑process quality checks—followed rigorously to deliver consistent, high‑quality products, while ensuring all team members adhere to SOPs and comply with individual cGMP responsibilities to prevent any deficiencies. Carry out specific targeted training as required, and ensure Compliance Wire training requirements are carried out within specified due dates Recommend improvements to the batch manufacturing process, SOP’s to increase process efficiency and effectiveness and maintain 5S and continuous improvement activities. Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with Catalent values. Perform other duties as assigned. The Candidate Minimum Requirements High School Diploma, GED/CAEC and/or educational credential assessment (ECA) is required 2 years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred GMP work experience preferred Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience is an advantage This role requires being clean shaven to wear a respirator, which is mandatory to meet Health & Safety requirement Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders/steps, reading written documents, and use of a computer monitor, as well as talking and listening; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, reaching with hands and arms; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 kg; and may be exposed to inclement weather or required to work in environments that require the use of protective gear and heightened awareness of personal and others’ safety. Preferred Skills & Background Good math skills and ability to operate related computer applications Ability to work independently and complete daily activities Strong teamwork, clear communication, and effective listening skills Good standard of oral and written English and ability to follow written instructions Able to complete written batch records Candidates with non-Canadian credentials must provide an evaluation confirming Canadian equivalency as determined by the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC) such as WES This position does not qualify for sponsorship Pay The start hourly rate for this position is $26.93/Hr.
