In this vital role, you will lead Learning & Performance strategy and execution for UPLIZNA Neurology (NMOSD & gMG), including New Hire / Onboarding, field learning, semester meetings, advanced training, sales capability initiatives, and ongoing learning aligned with the business priorities. You will enable high-quality, compliant customer engagement across neuroimmunology and neuromuscular care settings. This position is a U.S.-based, remote field training leadership role reporting directly to the Director of Learning and Performance. You will lead a team of two and direct the new-hire/onboarding and advanced-training curriculum. You will also partner with Brand on semester-meeting strategy, sustainment planning, and ongoing learning initiatives. Additional responsibilities include: Partner with Brand Leadership to ensure learning strategies are aligned with business priorities and commercial objectives. Collaborate across RDBU Learning & Performance, other Business Unit learning organizations, and cross-functional partners to deliver an integrated learning strategy while identifying, sharing, and scaling learning best practices and innovative solutions. Manage, coach, and develop Learning and Performance staff to deliver impactful curricula and build future talent for the organization. Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Brand to ensure a proactive, strategic approach that equips field teams to engage neuroimmunologists, neuromuscular specialists, comprehensive neurology centers, infusion-site stakeholders, and the broader multidisciplinary care team. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales Training experience Or Master’s degree and 4 years of Sales Training experience Or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Sales Training experience Or Associate’s degree and 10 years of Sales Training experience Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales training experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience defining learning goals and objectives with key internal clients and establishing, communicating, and leading teams to timelines and financial targets. Demonstrated people-leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and influencing high-performing sales or cross-functional teams in a complex specialty-biopharma environment. Prior specialty or rare disease field experience is strongly preferred; experience in NMOSD, gMG, neuroimmunology, or neuromuscular disease is highly desirable. Experience in sales, marketing, and/or training in rare-disease neurology, preferably supporting NMOSD and/or gMG, biologic therapies, infusion-administered therapies, and complex patient journeys. Experience working with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and vendor-management teams as a client or functional-unit lead. Experience in content development and instructional design is a plus. Strong clinical competence in rare-disease neurology to model and shape curricula, including disease-state education, diagnostic pathways, treatment access, and patient-management considerations. Ability to translate market and customer insights into compliant, actionable training that advances field capability and customer value. Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and selling skills. Understanding of the access and reimbursement environment, patient-support services, and Veeva data systems.
