Vaccines Activation Manager Location: Bucharest, Romania Workmode: field-based / regional coverage Hiring Manager: Ionut Alexandru About the job As a Vaccines Activation Manager at Sanofi, you will be at the heart of our vaccines commercial operations in Romania — managing key regional partnerships, responsible for sell-in / sell-out, and translating national strategy into impactful local action. You will work closely with distributors, regional pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, hospitals and private medical centers to strengthen Sanofi's presence and deliver results that matter for patients and partners alike. Main Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of distributors, regional pharmacy chains, high-potential independent pharmacies, hospitals and private medical centers to build lasting partnerships and drive regional vaccines performance Adapt national commercial strategies into tailored regional action plans, ensuring alignment with the promotional team and consistent execution of commercial agreements and visibility programs Roll out distributor and pharmacy trade campaigns at regional level, optimizing them based on local market insights and performance data Track key performance indicators (sell-in/sell-out, stock coverage, activation rates) for assigned accounts and take data-driven decisions to improve outcomes Collect and escalate competitive intelligence, market trends, and local risks/opportunities to the Strategic Partnership Lead Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and a superior customer experience Contribute to annual strategic planning and business reviews by providing structured field feedback to the Strategic Partnership Lead About you Education University degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field Experience Solid background in the pharmaceutical industry, with exposure to commercial, key account management, or trade roles Experience working with distributors, pharmacy chains,independent pharmacies, hospitals or private medical centers is a strong advantage Familiarity with the vaccines business model or the broader vaccines market is a plus Proven ability to build and manage multi-stakeholder relationships (distributors, pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, hospitals, private medical centers) Track record of translating strategic plans into concrete regional execution with measurable results Comfortable working in a field-based, autonomous environment with regular travel across the region Skills Data-driven mindset with the ability to monitor performance and adapt actions based on insights Strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills Entrepreneurial, proactive, and resilient — able to turn a fast-changing environment into positive outcomes Customer-oriented with a genuine ability to build win-win relationships Collaborative team player who embodies Take The Lead behaviors Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned region Languages Romanian: Fluent English: Conversational or professional level About Sanofi We’re an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth. The salary range for this position is :lei160 800,00 - lei214 400 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
