Why join us Shape the strategy for a high‑visibility platform that will orchestrate the future of enabling technology in the operating room for VELYS™ Enabling Technology Work at the intersection of clinical needs, transformational technologies and commercial execution during a major technology growth phase Purpose: The Senior Manager, Upstream Marketing — Navigation will serve as the key strategic leader within the Velys Enabling Technologies platform for the Velys Hub, orchestrating the strategic roadmap, capability expansion and commercialization of across technologies. Reporting to the Navigation Platform Leader, this individual will serve to integrate the needs of the business across technologies to ensure the hub meets the needs of the enabling technology roadmap. You will be responsible for: Define product vision, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy, supported by robust market research, customer intelligence, and competitive analysis Develop compelling business cases including market sizing, financial modeling, and business valuations to drive investment decisions Translate clinical workflows, hospital IT/cybersecurity needs, and regulatory constraints into clear messaging, purchasing guides, and training materials. Define customer requirements and messaging for connectivity, interoperability, and device provisioning; support hospital network approval processes. Create evidence and outcomes positioning: define evidence needs, support clinical and real‑world data initiatives, and align messaging with regulatory claims. Lead cross‑functional launch readiness with Regulatory, R&D, IT/Cybersecurity, Clinical, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams. Drive external stakeholder engagement (KOLs, CIOs/CMIOs, procurement, partners) to validate direction and accelerate adoption. Own competitive intelligence and ecosystem mapping to inform product and market priorities. Measure and optimize post‑launch adoption using field feedback, usage metrics, and clinical outcomes. Qualifications / Requirements: Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Marketing or Computer Science a related field 10+ years in marketing, product strategy, or commercial roles supporting regulated medical devices or connected hardware platforms. Or 5+ years with advanced degree such as MBA or PhD. Experience in the medical device or medical technology industry Strong commercial skills: market sizing, pricing, financial modeling, and business storytelling. Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and financial analysis Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies Preferred Skills: MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred Experience in capital equipment, OR Integration equipment, integration services, or other adjacent applicable segment Experience with platform OS decisions, OTA update strategies, and device lifecycle management. Familiarity with medical device regulatory frameworks, connectivity standards, hospital IT workflows, and cybersecurity documentation.
