The Position ServiceNow Architect / Technical Product Owner for RDT 4 P&C The ServiceNow Architect/Technical Product Owner will be a key member of the People & Culture Engineering team, part of Roche Digital Technology (RDT). Our primary business stakeholders are People & Culture (P&C) at Roche. The P&C Engineering team operates as a foundational force across various P&C products, providing the essential enablers and technical capabilities required to meet strategic objectives. At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week . The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events. The Opportunity: In this role, you will provide subject matter expertise, act as a technical product advocate, and evaluate new features to produce comprehensive analysis and recommendations for the ServiceNow platform. As both a Solution Architect and Technical PO, you will perform and participate in product road map planning, translating business needs into use cases and functional requirements for the technical team. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership : Collaborate closely with the different Business Product Owners to act as a technical product advocate. Translate requirements into functional and technical requirements, and develop technical design documents. Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders. Implementation & Customization : Contribute to the strategic development of new platform customizations based on customer needs, participating in the configuration of new applications or suites during the planning, development, and roll out phases. Lead ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution, and support the scheduling of releases and new technology deployments. Implement technology-specific best practices and standards. Quality Assurance & Testing : Review and refine designs for usability, review testing scenarios, and work with users to review test results to ensure applications meet expected quality. Ensure strict adherence to corporate standards by managing ICFR audits, SRA, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and maintaining accurate Solution Design Documents (SDD). Leadership & Documentation : Lead assignments, build the team, and mentor others. Lead geographically separated customers and onshore/offshore teams members, interacting cross-functionally to ensure coordination across the organization. Produce and maintain detailed system documentation, including design specs, maintenance, disaster recovery, and tech notes. Maintain continuous research and assessment of new resources and technology available for the platform. Architecture & Design : Create and maintain the current state of the ServiceNow platform architecture documentation and provide architectural control. Design and develop extensions to the ServiceNow data model in support of requirements for custom modules, HRSD, and other areas. Research alternative solutions and propose data models, design changes, and cost-effective solutions. Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) discussions and drive solution proposals for the products Who you are: Minimum 7 years of ServiceNow experience with a must have ServiceNow HRSD Product experience, strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies and processes. Practical experience with agile methodologies and tools. Technical Skills: ServiceNow HRSD knowledge: Deep technical expertise across the ServiceNow ecosystem, with specific proficiency in HRSD (HR Service Delivery) and studio application management Integration & Ecosystem Design: Advanced knowledge of building and maintaining secure platform integrations, utilizing APIs, Web Services, and modern integration frameworks. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on design, development, and deployment experience with extensive ServiceNow Administration experience. Knowledge and hands-on experience with advanced scripting (both client and server side, including jelly scripting), JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and XML. Fundamental understanding of integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, REST, LDAP, JDBC, and ODBC Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC/IRM): Strong understanding of platform security frameworks, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and audit compliance requirements (such as ICFR and SRA). Agile Product Delivery & Prototyping: Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical blueprints, conducting spike assessments, and rapidly building functional POCs within an Agile/Scrum framework. Soft Skills: Adaptability: Proven ability to pivot for the value maximization, and to learn new technologies and internal platforms quickly in a fast-changing environment Collaboration: Exceptional team spirit; ability to explain complex logic and risk factors to non-technical stakeholders and external partners. Professional working proficiency in English, Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, specifically in a managed service or hybrid (internal/external) environment Interpersonal Skills : Excellent problem solving, decision-making, prioritization. What you get: Salary range 19 000 - 35 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract. Annual bonus payment based on your performance (target 20%).
