Legal Counsel (all genders)

At Evotec’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Legal Counsel (all genders) Full-time and permanent Key Responsibilities Provide legal support for Evotec's global Commercial teams on all matters of contracts, commercial and ideally intellectual property laws: this includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating all kinds of commercial agreements (in particular Master Services-, Collaboration-, Licence-, Material Transfer-, Consultancy-, Confidentiality Agreements and other types of Life Sciences contracts Prepare and review contract specimen, standard templates and approval processes Provide legal advice and support for interdisciplinary and strategic projects Ideally preparation and review of standard operating procedures, policies, contract templates and contribute to process improvement initiatives in the legal team Develop a deep understanding of the full range of Evotec capabilities and platform technologies Ideally managing legal trainings for internal stakeholders Required qualifications Fully qualified lawyer with at least 3 years post qualification experience Ideally In-house and/or law firm working experience in a similar role Clear and open communication style to interact effectively across functional, geographic and cultural boundaries within the company and externally Solid negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels Self-starter who is resourceful and able to work effectively both independently as well as with a team Ability to handle complexity of work under pressure and meet deadlines while remaining highly organized, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, and provide high quality work Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills; exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all contractual documents Highly motivated attitude Fluency in written and spoken English and German Further ideal qualifications: experience in the Biotech, Pharma or Healthcare sector additional academic degrees in biotechnology and/or biomedical engineering sciences Our offer: A position within a vigorous and exciting professional environment promoted by an open culture and a spirit of community A diverse, international workforce with a dynamic working environment that fosters creativity, innovations and teamwork 30 days of annual holiday, flexible working hours, and in-house canteen Capital forming benefits, holiday allowance, annual bonus depending on performance, and monthly allowance for public transportation (Deutschlandticket - JobTicket Premium) To apply, please click on the “ Apply ” button and provide your application documents (CV and cover letter, including earliest possible start date and salary requirements).
