Director, Finance Business Partner, Broadmeadows

The role performs as Finance Business Partner to the VP Site Head and its Operational Management Team and will report to the Senior Director Finance, Manufacturing. Key responsibilities include partnering with the business, developing high impact analytics to support strategic and tactical decision making. The role also partners with the Operational Excellence team to drive productivity initiatives across the end-to-end supply network. The position requires deep understanding of the factors that drive Manufacturing operations financial results, and the ability to develop analytical models, data based decision frameworks, product costing guidelines, and productivity KPI's required to support decision making. Keys Responsibilities Provide financial analytics to Vice President and GM Manufacturing Site Broadmeadows partnering with the Senior Leadership Team in strategic decision-making, assist in making effective business decisions and understanding the value generation factors that drive the organization’s financial results Member of the Operational Site Management team providing financial insights and being a strategic thought-partner Member of the Site Broadmeadows Council Team (GM, R&D Head, Com. Ops Head, providing strategical input for Site development topics Representing Site Finance towards external 3rd parties (auditors, authorities and regional stakeholders) as well all internal CSL employees by presenting CSL Financial results at town halls or social events Leading the primary Site Finance BP team and create a Site Finance community for all remaining Site Finance employees Coordinating and facilitating site related tasks and requests e.g. daily benefits insurance, car lease contracts, signing off for commercial or any law agreements or monthly salary for all employees on Site based on commercial register authority and acting as Site Finance SPOC Representing Site Finance Broadmeadows at Tier 4 meetings with Global leaders (VPs) Definition and Support of Other COS projects e.g. CMO activities Create the financial capability and processes required to formulate short and long-term strategies to continually improve operational effectiveness of the manufacturing network, and work with cross functional partners to drive execution Address complex business problems dealing with variance analysis, manufacturing capacity optimization, absorption and overhead, yield improvement, loss analysis, and cost-per-liter efficiencies, minimizing waste across the network Review and drive the planning, forecasting, and budgeting process for Manufacturing and Quality in alignment with the global Operations strategy Anticipate business trends, assess risks, and recommend alternative solutions to meet financial and business objectives Work with the FP&A Center of Excellence to enhance the standard costing process with the goal of streamlining timelines, harmonizing practices across sites, and achieving best-in-class accuracy Attract, develop and retain outstanding Finance talents. Lead and develop a high performing team of Finance professionals. Lead, manage and support Finance digital transformation efforts/projects across Manufacturing Sites. Support Finance data analytics requirements and actively support global analytics initiatives impacting the Site Qualifications, Skills & Experience Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree EMBA in related field desirable 12 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, financial Business Partnering, including managing people and processes Cost accounting, Operational Excellence, and change management experience in a global scientific/pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing or supply chain environment highly desirable Track record of leadership experience including influencing senior management and critical stakeholders Key Competencies Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Sound judgment Ability to set and execute integrated processes Strong analytical and strategic thinking Ability to lead, develop and motivate others Timely decision making and priority setting Organizational agility, work cross-functionally and across all levels Closing Date for Applications: Monday 12th October 2026 About CSL Behring CSL Behring is a global biotherapeutics leader driven by our promise to save lives.
