Learn more about RayzeBio: https://careers.bms.com/rayzebio/ Summary The Associate Director of Program Management will be accountable for the cross-functional planning and execution of one or more development programs. This role will work with a cross-functional team to define and drive the execution of the development strategy with urgency, manage timelines, identify and manage risk. The ideal candidate will bring clinical-stage program management expertise, deep understanding of drug development and regulatory processes, and the ability to assess and drive deployment of tools and best practices to ensure successful product development. Job Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Support program strategic planning; build functional plans, aligning with program strategy. Build and maintain integrated program plans, identifying all activities, dependencies, resources, and milestones; continually review the critical path and proactively manage technical and/or executional risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of programs. Challenge assumptions, timelines and expenses at the program level; pressure test plans; and create alternative scenarios, highlighting interdependencies and downstream impacts of strategic decisions. Manage team meetings including developing agendas and documenting decisions and action items. Proactively identify risks, lead detailed risk impact analyses, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues to leadership with sound judgment and minimal supervision. Maintain effective communication across the program team through a variety of communication and PM tools to ensure cross-functional alignment and focused execution. As a project management subject matter expert, understand best practices, identify gaps and challenges, implement efficiencies and improved ways of working within the organization. Education and Experience BA/BS required, in combination with drug development experience at various stages (pre-IND through NDA approval). Advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) and PMP certification preferred. Minimum of at least 5+ years work experience in Biotech or Pharma; prior experience in project management required. Experience with commonly used project management tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet Skills and Qualifications Successful track record in managing clinical development teams and successfully advancing development candidates to global regulatory submissions (e.g. INDs/NDAs) Ability to execute diverse and novel strategies in a matrix environment Demonstrated skill in bridging strategy to functional plans and driving execution Strong organizational skills, persistent attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively to manage timelines and priorities Proven ability to build relationships, communicate clearly, navigate diverse perspectives, and align cross-functional stakeholders to advance program execution Applies AI to improve team execution and decision‑making Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Compensation Overview: San Diego - CA - US: $182,753 - $221,454
 The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance. Benefits: Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, you may be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefit plans – including wellbeing support, retirement and financial protection benefits, and insurance offerings (medical, dental, vision, life and disability). U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year. Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays. Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.
