Job Description The Global Pulmonary Hypertension and Rare Disease (PH & RD) organization leads the global commercial efforts for our first-in-class activin signaling inhibitor approved for the treatment of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) in many markets across the globe, which is in the middle of our global launch and has the potential to transform the PAH landscape. Earlier this year, the company presented successful results from the Phase 2 CADENCE study in combined pre- and post-capillary pulmonary hypertension associated with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (CpcPH-HFpEF) and shared its intent to move this indication into phase 3. The Director of Life Cycle Management (LCM) & Future Strategy for Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) & Rare Disease will play an integral role on the Global Marketing team, with responsibility for advancing early commercialization development for potential future indications for this compound. The role requires strategic leadership, strong collaboration with U.S. and local market teams, and close partnership with Clinical, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Digital Human Health, and other key stakeholders. This position will report to the Executive Director, Global Marketing - Lifecycle Management and Scientific Strategy. Specific Responsibilities Include: Develop global commercialization L3 Next strategies for potential future indications, including CpcPH-HFpEF. Developing these strategies will require building opportunity assessments, setting market-shaping priorities, evaluating launch readiness considerations, and aligning with global and early launch market commercial teams. Represent commercial priorities on clinical sub-teams to inform evidence generation, differentiation, access requirements, value proposition development, and future marketing claims for potential new indications. Define the overarching commercial ambition, strategic rationale, and long-term opportunity for lifecycle expansion in partnership with Clinical, Medical, Market Access, Digital Human Health, and other critical internal and external stakeholders. Drive development of commercially informed target product profiles and evidence needs that support meaningful differentiation, global pricing and access objectives, and future customer utilization. Build and maintain deep disease-area, customer, and market knowledge to identify unmet needs, competitive dynamics, and market-shaping opportunities that can inform early indication strategy. Conduct commercial assessments of business development and lifecycle opportunities, including strategic fit, market potential, evidence requirements, and implications for the PH and Rare Disease franchise. Manage budget, agency partners, and associated workstreams required to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic priorities. Position Qualifications: Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Advanced Degree (MBA) Required Experience and Skills: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access, or related areas in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries. Strategic Planning: Proven ability to analyze complex data and create clear, long-term, customer-centric strategies. Networking and Partnerships: Strong collaboration skills, both within commercial teams and across divisions, including R&D and manufacturing, Medical Affairs, Outcomes Research, and Access. Executional Excellence: Ability to identify clear priorities, align stakeholders, and ensure frictionless execution of value-added outcomes for our customers. Prior launch experience preferred. Experience working with Medical Affairs , Clinical, Outcomes Research, and other enterprise colleagues is preferred.
