The Sales Representative is responsible for driving appropriate utilization and growth of assigned therapies within a defined geography by developing strategic customer relationships, executing account plans, navigating complex access environments, and collaborating with client counterparts. The Sales Representative serves as a trusted partner to healthcare providers, health systems, pharmacies, and other stakeholders to improve patient outcomes and ensure access to innovative therapies. The Sales Representative demonstrates strong business acumen, customer focus, market expertise , and accountability while effectively collaborating across functions to deliver value for customers, patients, and the organization. Drive awareness of product approval and clinical and non-clinical decision making based on value proposition across efficacy, safety, convenience and access Engage and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and influncers across existing customer accounts. Strategic account planning that move customers conversations from interest to action by leveraging insights and removing barriers Ensure product access and provide education on product information, appropriate use , as well as on patient assistance and reimbursement resources, triaging to appropriate experts when needed Collaborate across multispecialty accounts, including those with CE overlap, to coordinate customer engagement and appropriately triage identified needs to the relevant Genentech cross-functional partners, such as Case Managers, MSLs, and other internal stakeholders, ensuring customers and patients are connected to the appropriate resources and support to facilitate patient access. Integrate digital solutions and capabilities to provide insights and analyze trends that enable HCP adoption, patient access, and shape customer engagement experience Apply systems thinking to understand the interdependencies across providers, health systems, pharmacies, payers, and care teams, developing strategies that optimize patient access and treatment adoption. What do you need for this position? 7+ years of successful pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related commercial experience. Ophthalmology or Immunology experience preferred Demonstrated ability to advance customer conversations toward clear outcomes and commitments, with a track record of driving decisions and achieving results in complex healthcare environments. Exceptional ability to navigate and mobilize the internal partners and resources on behalf of customers and patients, bringing together cross-functional expertise , resources, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges and drive meaningful outcomes. Strong closing skills with the ability to identify barriers, address objections, gain stakeholder alignment, and move opportunities through to execution. Proven ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations and effectively partner across it to deliver coordinated customer solutions. Systems thinker who understands the interconnected nature of healthcare delivery, patient access, reimbursement, and treatment adoption, and can develop strategies that address the broader ecosystem. Demonstrated ability to convert strategic account opportunities into tangible results through disciplined execution, stakeholder alignment, and effective closing skills. Skilled at orchestrating multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared objectives and accelerate customer outcomes. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and mobilize resources across functions to solve customer challenges. Strategic and action-oriented, with the ability to balance long-term relationship development with short-term execution and business results. Strong executive presence with the confidence to engage senior healthcare leaders and drive productive business discussions. Ownership mentality with a strong sense of urgency and taking initiative and the ability to anticipate possible obstacles and proactively problem solve Demonstrated ability to learn, adopt, and effectively integrate digital tools and capabilities. The base pay range for this position is $112K – $208K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
