Your role at Baxter Reporting to the Global T&E Operations Manager, the purpose of the role is to support the processing of travel and expense reports while identifying areas of fraud or non-compliance to policy. What you'll be doing We handle travel and reimbursement submissions quickly (SLA) while checking for potential fraudulent expenses or expenses that do not align with the Baxter Global Travel and Reimbursement Policy. We prepare and review retrospective reporting of travel and expense costs identifying areas for further review, including general poor employee behavior through retrospective reporting. W effectively handle interactions between employees, managers and a broader governance team on the results of the travel and expense audits. W proactively communicate to the business on areas of concern noted in expense report management. We develop a deep understanding of the travel and expense tools and policies while supporting the Governance Team and provided feedback to enhance the functionality of the travel and expenses system. We develop positive relationships with the business to improve the interdependent relationships across the various functions impacted by travel and expenses. We collaborate with other travel and expense teams to ensure escalations and outstanding issues are addressed and managed effectively. We provide feedback to RPO on suggested changes to current processes and policies in order to gain efficiencies and overall compliance with all programs. We participate in the implementation of ongoing process improvement projects related to travel and reimbursement processes i.e. Appzen, We collaborate with Corporate Service and perform end month close, black line and reconciliations. What you'll bring Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, or a related area required. Candidates who have completed at least 50% of their degree program and possess 5+ years of meaningful work experience may also qualify 2+ years of experience in travel and expenses Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, audit controls, compliance monitoring, and data analytics . English B2+ or higher Solid understanding of information systems such as Concur, Appzen, JD Edwards, Service Now, (Amex@Work, BoA GRAM, CITI) are a plus Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint 2nd European language (only desirable but not crucial) Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Confirmed proven knowledge of the travel industry and experience working in a Shared Service Center environment Financial services experience a plus Equal Employment Opportunity Baxter is an equal opportunity employer.
