The Opportunity: Implements operational goals related to software build, release, deployment, and configuration management, ensuring smooth and stable application implementation. Contributes to the development and refinement of new processes, standards, and operational plans that support efficient software delivery. Manages smaller applications implementation projects and processes, coordinating release schedules, automation improvements, and integration efforts. Works on recurring but varied deployment challenges, requiring the analysis of multiple factors, including system dependencies, infrastructure constraints, and quality assurance measures. Communicates regularly with cross-functional teams, including QA, IT operations, and product teams, ensuring alignment and seamless software delivery. May interact with external partners, vendors, or customers to support implementation efforts and troubleshoot deployment-related issues. SAP Spartacus / Angular Developer Role Overview: As a member of the e-commerce technology team, the developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure composable e-commerce storefront using SAP Spartacus on Angular platforms. Key Responsibilities: Develop scalable, robust, and secure e-commerce storefront aligned with business objectives and industry standards. Proficiency in designing complex eCommerce applications leveraging technologies like SAP CC, Java, Spartacus/Angular, Node.js, Spring framework, and other web development tools. E-commerce platform integration with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, payment gateways, SSO, and third-party APIs. Possess a good understanding of user profiles, shopping cart systems, payment processing, quotes, and order processing. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, finance, and IT to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions. Provide technical solutions, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of e-commerce solutions through rigorous unit testing, code reviews, and performance monitoring. Requirements & Core Technical Skills v Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP Spartacus and Angular v Angular: A deep understanding of Angular framework, including components, directives, services, dependency injection, and reactive programming. v TypeScript: Proficiency in TypeScript, including type safety, interfaces, and modules. v JavaScript: Strong JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ features. v HTML5 and CSS3: Knowledge of web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. v SAP Commerce Cloud (CC) Backoffice: Understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud backend systems and APIs to integrate with the frontend. v RESTful APIs: Experience in consuming and interacting with RESTful APIs. v Version Control: Proficiency in GitHub for code management and collaboration. v Spartacus Framework: In-depth knowledge of Spartacus architecture, components, and best practices. v OCC (OccModule): Understanding of the OCC module for communicating with the SAP Commerce Cloud backend. v Data Management: Experience in managing and handling product data, customer data, and order data within Spartacus. v UI/UX Development: Ability to create user-friendly and visually appealing e-commerce experiences. v Testing: Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks. v Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize Spartacus applications for speed and responsiveness. v Additional Desirable Skills v UI/UX Design: Understanding of UI/UX principles to create engaging user experiences. v Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments. v Accessibility: Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusivity. v SEO: Understanding of SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility. v Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
