Job Summary The Senior Director, Global Insights & Analytics (I&A) at Insulet Corporation will serve as the foremost I&A partner for the U.S. commercial organization while acting as a global steward of insights excellence. This strategic leadership role is responsible for setting the global standard for how Insights & Analytics influences commercial strategy, enhances customer understanding, and informs enterprise decision-making across various international segments and customer journeys. Reporting to the VP of Insights & Analytics, the Senior Director will drive a unified insights vision, harmonize methodologies, and elevate capabilities across regions, ensuring that customer, market, and performance insights translate into impactful narratives for executive decisions.Key responsibilities include providing strategic guidance to U.S. commercial leaders, translating complex data into clear observations and recommendations, and supporting long-term strategic planning for the U.S. market. The Senior Director will also oversee international I&A teams, ensuring consistency in insights generation and alignment with market-specific strategies, while guiding segment-level insights integration into broader business priorities. Additionally, this role will manage the global customer journey, identifying opportunities to enhance end-to-end experiences through qualitative and quantitative insights. By shaping processes within the Insights and Analytics function, anticipating business risks, and mentoring I&A team members, the Senior Director will build a best-in-class insights capability that drives significant business impact and supports Insulet's strategic objectives.

 Position Overview The Senior Director, Global Insights & Analytics serves as both the senior-most I&A partner supporting the U.S. commercial organization and a global steward of Insulet’s insights excellence. This role sets the global standard for how Insights & Analytics shapes commercial strategy, customer understanding, and enterprise decision‑making across International, Segment, and Customer Journey I&A teams. Reporting to the VP, Insights & Analytics, this leader operates as a primary strategic thought partner—driving a unified insights vision, harmonizing methodologies, and elevating capability maturity across regions. They ensure that customer, commercial, market, and performance insights translate into high‑impact narratives and guidance for executive decisions. The role connects long‑term strategy and real-time execution while building a world-class global insights ecosystem and strengthening talent and ways of working across markets. Responsibilities U.S. I&A Leadership · Serve as the primary I&A business partner to U.S. commercial leaders, providing guidance on key trends and strategic implications. · Translate U.S. customer, market, and performance data into clear observations, implications, and recommendations for executive decision-making. · Support long-term strategic planning (>5 years) for the U.S. market, including forecasting external trends and competitive dynamics. · Define and monitor U.S. commercial KPIs tied to performance, customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle optimization. International I&A Oversight · Provide leadership and strategic alignment for International I&A teams across priority markets. · Ensure consistency of methodologies, insights generation, and customer journey understanding globally. · Support market-specific learning plans and commercial strategy development. Segment I&A Leadership · Guide I&A support for global business segments, ensuring integration of segment-level insights with U.S. and international priorities. · Partner with segment heads to develop fact-based business cases for product decisions, investments, and go-to-market approaches. · Lead segmentation, persona development and unmet needs globally. Customer Journey I&A Ownership · Oversee the global customer journey, ensuring incorporation of qualitative and quantitative insights across all touchpoints. · Identify unmet needs, pain points, and opportunities to improve end-to-end experiences and align the organization against activation. · Integrate multiple disparate data sources (primary research, CRM, digital, secondary) into a cohesive customer understanding. Cross-Functional Leadership · Shape processes across Insights and Analytics to maximize business impact and streamline insight generation. · Anticipate business risks and opportunities grounded in evolving market, customer, and competitive insights. · Lead, mentor, and develop I&A team members globally to build a best-in-class capability. Key Decision Rights · Ownership of the global customer journey and its evolution. · Defining and maintaining the learning plan for U.S., International, and Segment use cases. · Prioritization of global insights initiatives and integration across U.S. and global teams. Required Skills & Competencies · Strategic and analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. · Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills; able to influence at all levels. · Experience using data to drive product, marketing, and commercial decision-making. · Global mindset with the ability to manage diverse data requirements, compliance needs, and cross-market variation. · Deep understanding of global commercial data sources (structured/unstructured; internal/external) and their strengths and limitations. Education & Experience · Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent). · 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in insights, analytics, strategy, or consulting. · Experience in medical device, healthcare, or consumer goods industries. · Demonstrated success influencing senior executives in complex, matrixed organizations. · Track record of both strategy development and hands-on execution. Additional Information · Position may be hybrid or in-person at Acton, MA (preferred) or San Diego, CA. · Expected travel: approximately 20%, subject to business needs.
