Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Lead and contribute to the integrated RWE-HO strategy for mRNA influenza vaccines, aligned with clinical development, medical, regulatory and commercialization priorities. Provide expert scientific input to governance decisions, investment choices, evidence prioritization and risk mitigation. Lead the design, implementation and interpretation of post-marketing influenza vaccine effectiveness studies in the United States and other geographies. Ensure studies meet appropriate standards of scientific rigor, transparency, reproducibility and fitness for their intended decision-making purpose. Build productive collaborations with US academic investigators, healthcare systems, data partners and vaccine effectiveness research networks. Partner effectively with Clinical Development, Epidemiology, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Safety, Biostatistics, Market Access, Data Science and Commercial teams. Lead multiple complex projects, budgets and external research collaborations, ensuring quality, timely delivery and appropriate escalation of risks. Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority and communicate complex epidemiological concepts in a clear, decision-focused manner. Experience designing, conducting and interpreting post-marketing vaccine studies in the United States. Research experience with vaccine effectiveness studies. Experience using large US healthcare databases, including administrative claims, electronic health records or linked real-world datasets. Experience leading complex studies from concept through delivery, interpretation and scientific dissemination. Demonstrated effectiveness in global, cross-functional matrix teams and in managing internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Direct experience with influenza vaccine effectiveness studies in the United States. Experience with US Medicare, commercial claims, EHR and linked claims/EHR data. Knowledge of US influenza vaccination recommendations, vaccine delivery and healthcare systems. They will design credible US post-marketing studies, anticipate the methodological challenges specific to influenza, and convert complex evidence needs into practical solutions.
