Contract Type: Fixed Term - 12 months POSITION PURPOSE You will turn consumer insights into integrated campaigns that build Lilly brand awareness, trust and patient activation in Italy. You will manage assigned marketing projects from brief to delivery, including initiatives with pharmaceutical retail partners and in neuroscience, as part of a broader consumer marketing remit. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities: - Contribute to consumer marketing plans, translating brand priorities, audience insights and market opportunities into clear activation roadmaps for assigned projects. - Develop and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social, paid media, retail and experiential touchpoints, ensuring consistent brand expression and a clear consumer journey. - Adapt global and regional assets for Italian audiences and develop local content with agencies, turning complex health topics into accessible, relevant communication. - Manage creative and agency briefs, deliverables, timelines and approval workflows; coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality execution. - Work with pharmaceutical retail partners, including pharmacies and pharmacy networks, to develop consumer education, in-store and digital activations aligned with marketing objectives. - Apply consumer marketing capabilities to assigned neuroscience initiatives, including disease awareness and patient and caregiver engagement, in collaboration with the relevant brand and Medical teams. - Use consumer research, market trends and campaign data to identify engagement barriers, improve messaging and recommend new activation opportunities. - Track campaign reach, engagement, brand impact and relevant journey metrics, and recommend changes to improve investment effectiveness. - Collaborate with Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance to secure required approvals before deployment and ensure activities meet company standards. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, Management Engineering or a related discipline. - 2–3 years of experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing or integrated activation, with hands-on responsibility for campaign delivery. Backgrounds in FMCG, beauty, Pharma, retail, consumer health or med-tech are particularly relevant. - Experience translating consumer insights into effective campaigns across multiple channels, with a solid understanding of brand building, digital marketing, media and consumer journeys. - Strong project management skills, including agency coordination, stakeholder management, budget tracking and the ability to deliver several projects in parallel. - Analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify priorities and translate findings into practical recommendations. - Excellent communication, briefing and presentation skills; ability to influence and collaborate across local, regional and global teams. - Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken; strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. - Ownership, attention to execution quality, curiosity and a consumer-first approach. Experience with retail or pharmacy partnerships is an advantage; prior pharmaceutical or neuroscience experience is not required. INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS - Internal: Consumer Marketing, relevant Brand and Business Unit teams, including Neuroscience, Market Research, Analytics, Digital and Media, Corporate Affairs and Communications, Sales and retail partnership teams, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Procurement. - International: Global and regional marketing teams to align plans, adapt assets and share local insights and campaign learnings. - External: Creative, media, digital and experiential agencies; pharmaceutical retail partners and pharmacy networks; research providers and other activation partners. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is €40.500 - €59.400 Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
