Job Description A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Engineering Graduate Rotational Programme . This position will contribute to developing and implementing strategic planning in Ireland by providing engineering insight and expert knowledge about the processes supporting the manufacture of product or disease area. The role is designed to strengthen the depth and breadth of technical, analytical, business and leadership capability within the business. It provides opportunities for individuals to excel personally and professionally and impact on the organisation's goals and objectives in Compliance, Supply, Strategy & Profit Plan. Bringing a collaborative style, energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: Knowledge of or experience with some of the following would be an advantage: Method validations, method transfers and equipment qualifications in a GMP environment. Protein chemistry, chromatography, immunoassays and Microbiology. Engineering preventative maintenance, utility supply, wastewater treatment, black utilities, calibrations and production support. Facilities, plant management, and project management. Support of new product introductions and technical transfers to and from the site, including new technologies. Preparation of documentation, including protocols and reports, associated with the projects in accordance with GDP (good documentation practice) and site procedures. Process and equipment optimisation to sustain and improve product quality, yields and throughput. Making recommendations and implementing measures to improve engineering, facility & production systems, equipment performance, yields and quality of product. Problem solving to drive results in a cross functional team environment. Execution of process development on existing products or new late-stage clinical products including scale up to plant equipment. Identifying continuous improvement activities and leading or participating in cross-functional teams to implement. Supporting activities in the areas of cost reduction, process efficiency and operational excellence. Providing site and on-the-floor technical support to the engineering and production areas/leaders for process/equipment optimization and troubleshooting. Ensuring that all safety, quality and environmental compliance goals are achieved, including thoroughly investigating deviations and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are identified and implemented in full. Responsible for process engineering and safety preparations Provide technical support for commercial and Commercialisation products, including process and equipment validation. Responsible for completion of process monitoring during production. To excel in this role, you will likely have: MSc/BSc. qualification 2:1 (Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering) High personal integrity, credibility, and energy. Demonstrated ability to work as part of diverse teams in an inclusive manner. Demonstrated ability to be self-driven with respect to driving results and implementing identified improvement initiatives. Previous experience in pharmaceuticals, as well as an aptitude for problem solving in a technical environment are desirable.
