Scientist, Process Analytical Technology Location: Portsmouth, NH, USA Join Lonza in Portsmouth, NH, where you will support the development and implementation of innovative Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) that advance biologics manufacturing. In this role, you will contribute to upstream process development activities that help bring life-changing therapies to patients worldwide. What you will get An opportunity to work on innovative Process Analytical Technology solutions supporting biologics manufacturing Exposure to cutting-edge upstream process development for monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, and emerging biologic modalities An agile career and dynamic working culture An inclusive and ethical workplace Collaboration with experienced scientists and technical experts Compensation programs that recognize high performance Medical, dental, and vision insurance What you will do Execute experimental studies supporting the evaluation and implementation of new Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) Support upstream manufacturing operations for monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, and other biologic modalities Deliver assigned project activities using established scientific methods and documented procedures Execute and review experimental plans, data, and reports while maintaining quality and compliance standards Achieve project milestones within agreed timelines and technical expectations Identify and implement improvements that enhance team efficiency, data quality, and workflow effectiveness Provide technical support and contribute to scientific problem-solving activities within the team What we are looking for Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Bioengineering, Biomanufacturing, or a related scientific discipline Foundational knowledge of mammalian cell culture and upstream bioprocessing operations Understanding of scientific methods and laboratory practices supporting biologics manufacturing Ability to execute laboratory experiments and analyze scientific data accurately Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Effective communication and collaboration skills Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for innovation and learning About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
