Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/ The Supply Chain Planning Lead is the main responsible for End-to-End Supply Chain Planning for an assigned product portfolio in Canada. This includes leading Canada's Demand and Supply Planning processes, as well as Integrated Business Planning (IBP). This individual plays a leading role in the IBP Process and leads the alignment among Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial functions! You will drive the monthly cadence of the IBP Cycle (Demand Review, Supply Review). Additionally, you will be responsible for the continuous supply of finished goods for the assigned portfolio from multiple global supply locations to meet service level expectations and inventory targets. The goal is to define and maintain appropriate levels of inventory according to customer demand and company objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead Demand Planning for specific platforms within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process with continuous improvements Collaborate with functions such as Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance to identify and incorporate market intelligence (events) into the demand forecast and balance with statistical forecast model to achieve maximum accuracy Develop detailed execution plans and manage demand plans for new product introductions and life cycle management as required and aligned with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain Drive Supply Planning and Inventory Management processes for assigned portfolio. Ensure target inventory levels are optimized to fulfill service level targets (On Time In Full), through the utilization of Inventory Entitlement tools. Participate and lead supply disruption recoveries in partnership with Supply Chain and relevant commercial partners Effectively communicate accurate product availability information to customers and commercial partners with continuous improvement to the communication capabilities and process Ensure that demand planning, IBP, and business planning processes align with overall global processes and objectives Act as single point of contact for the Canadian business for Supply Chain-related activities for the product line Clearly communicate with business partners, including (but not limited to) Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain partners Mentor associates and provide team leadership as needed Drive continuous improvement Qualifications: Education: A minimum of a Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or Engineering preferred. MBA preferred Required: Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional work experience. Hands-on working experience with one or more of the following areas: inventory/planning/order management/ ERP or MRP computer systems/financial processes Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Understanding of distribution network Able to work with minimal supervision Preferred: Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or IBP experience Experience in medical device, consumer or pharmaceutical industries Proficient in advanced analytics and data visualization software design and usage (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Qlik) Proficient in digital optimization platforms (i.e. Alteryx, Robotic Process Automation, Common Data Layer, etc.) Proactively mitigates supply disruptions and flags risk early Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong problem solving and negotiation skills Adaptable to meet rapidly changing priorities Customer focus (both internal and external) Other: May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
