Based in Bengaluru, you will join a high-performing team of scientific communicators. They are dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and compliant medical information related to products marketed in the US. Your work will help healthcare professionals make informed decisions, directly supporting safe and effective patient care. Integrated with global and US partners, you will shape content strategies, bring evidence to life and ensure scientific integrity across multiple formats, all while advancing how we operate through digital solutions. Accountabilities: Scientific Content Creation: Develop, review, update and maintain high-quality medical content across formats, including US standard responses and localized scientific communication materials that align to product strategies and therapeutic priorities. Medical Information Response Excellence: Deliver accurate, scientifically balanced and timely answers to Medical Information Requests for US products; design literature searches and custom responses for advanced inquiries from local markets to guide appropriate product use. Content Systems Mastery: Use medical information and content management systems (GMIP Inquiry, Vault MedComms, PromoMats, AIMI) to streamline creation, review, tracking and reporting, enabling speed and consistency. Evidence Synthesis: Perform comprehensive literature searches, evaluate evidence quality, and ensure appropriate citation and copyright usage to underpin robust, defensible content. Quality and Compliance Leadership: Conduct medical accuracy checks, quality assurance, editorial and promotional reviews to uphold scientific integrity and meet regulatory, legal and company standards. Therapeutic Area Expertise: Build and sustain deep knowledge of assigned disease areas, products and diagnostics, translating insights into relevant, customer-centric content. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with scientific, medical, regulatory, and commercial collaborators, ensuring content aligns to strategic priorities and is consistent across touchpoints. Program and Project Delivery: Plan, prioritize and manage workstreams to hit breakthroughs, anticipating risks and adapting quickly to keep results on track. Digital Innovation: Champion and chip in to adoption of digital solutions and new technologies that elevate content quality, reusability and reach—how would you use data and AI to improve response precision and speed? Essential Skills/Experience: Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience (PharmD preferred, MD, PhD, or equivalent). Demonstrated ability in medical information, scientific communications or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry. Clinical and healthcare systems expertise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex scientific information into clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences. Scientific/medical writing, communication, and content creation (e.g., slide decks). Strategic problem solver with strong eye for business, project management, and organizational skills. Confirmed ability to work across teams or functions and proficiency in using technology/platforms. Demonstrates strong collaboration skills, shows sensitivity to cultural differences, and remains open to change. Ability to apply local regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements to Medical Affairs activities and drug information delivery. Desirable Skills/Experience: Experience developing digital content and/or digital content strategy highly desired. Experience in mentoring and coaching team members (for senior roles). Proficiency with systems for managing medical information and content (e.g., GMIP Inquiry, Vault MedComms, PromoMats, AIMI) and familiarity with US medical information processes.
