Job Description Director, US Hematology Marketing Join our company, a leading research-driven biopharmaceutical organization focused on discovering, developing, and delivering innovative medicines and vaccines that improve and save lives worldwide. We are seeking a strategic marketing leader to serve as Director, US Hematology Marketing, responsible for portfolio strategy, launch readiness, and commercialization efforts across multiple hematology assets. This position reports directly to the Associate Vice President of GU and Hematology Marketing. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of hematology care across 5 assets by leading cross-functional initiatives that translate scientific innovation into meaningful patient outcomes. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to guide portfolio and brand strategy, identify growth opportunities, and support successful launches in a dynamic market. Working closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, R&D, Finance, and other key functions, this individual will help advance our mission while driving business value and patient impact. Responsibilities: Lead commercial portfolio strategy and launch readiness for Hematology pipeline assets, ensuring appropriate partnership across Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales, R&D, and other stakeholders Develop and execute brand strategies, including market assessment, customer segmentation, positioning and messaging, capability planning, and go-to-market execution informed by customer insights and market trends Partner with the Associate Vice President to drive strategic decisions through analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and market research, translating insights into actionable deliverables Assess market opportunities, build business cases, and recommend investment priorities to maximize portfolio value and growth Lead critical business initiatives, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver measurable results. Build and enhance commercialization capabilities, processes, and frameworks to support multiple product launches across the Hematology portfolio. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred 8+ years of experience in biopharmaceuticals or a related field with expertise in marketing and competitor strategy, assessing and building launch capabilities, and portfolio strategy Proven success developing asset and portfolio go-to-market strategies, evaluating market opportunities, and proven ability to lead growth initiatives in complex healthcare environments using datasets to create outside-in perspectives Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, competitive intelligence, market research, customer insights, and data-driven decision-making Strong relationship-building skills, ability to set team vision, a proven track record of attracting and developing talent, and a highly collaborative approach to teamwork Demonstrated ability to influence and manage multi-workstreams across a matrixed organization, aligning cross-functional teams and senior leaders Experience partnering across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Supply Chain, and R&D to achieve strategic objectives and business impact Management consulting experience, leveraging structured management consulting frameworks and methodologies to drive cross-functional launch readiness, ensuring seamless market entry and execution Preferred: Hematology experience Required Skills: Business Case Development, Business Case Development, Business Decisions, Business Growth Strategies, Business Opportunity Identification, Commercial Excellence, Competitive Intelligence (CI), Customer-Focused, Customer Relationship Building, Data-Driven Decision Making, Direct Marketing, Financial Analysis, Go-to-Market Execution, Hematology, Insight Generation, Market Access, Market Analysis, Market Development, Marketing Operations, Market Intelligence, Market Opportunity Analysis, Market Opportunity Identification, Market Penetration, Oncology Marketing, Partner Relationship Management (PRM) {+ 10 more} Preferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERE Current Contingent Workers apply HERE US and Puerto Rico Residents Only: Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
