As Senior Manager , Health Equity , you will play a piv o t a l role in implement ing our Health Equity strategy and developing programmes aligned with our disease area priorities that bridge healthcare gaps for underserved patients ; promote healthier behaviours, enabl in g early disease detection and improv ing access to care. T his role is critical in bringing to life how AstraZeneca is contributing to better, more equitable health outcomes for societies across the globe. This role requires a self-starter who is experienced in and engergi s ed by public private partnerships and implementing high-quality programmes through hands-on delivery at Global and country level . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public health, government affairs, healthcare policy, and strategic programme management, with a passion for advancing health equity within the pharmaceutical industry. Key responsibilities: Support implementation of health equity programmes across AstraZeneca's disease area priorities beginning with lung health equity in diverse geographie s , in line with AstraZeneca’s health equity strateg y , c ollaborat ing with global and local partners and AstraZeneca country teams to deliver against shared objectives . Manage internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery of key activities. Support the delivery of external expert consultations including patient advocacy and clinical leaders , working in close partnership with Legal, Compliance and country teams to ensure compliant, high-quality external engagement. S upport development of global policy evidence frameworks related to AstraZeneca’s health equity programmes and enable countries to adopt outcome-focused health equity impact metrics across programmes . Support e levat ion of AstraZeneca’s health equity programmes internally and externally through coordinated multi‑channel communications , working in partnership with Global Corporate Affairs colleagues. Your ability to establish strong, trusted partnerships with a variety of external and internal stakeholders and manage competing priorities, often to tight and competing deadlines, will be key to success . Y ou will have knowledge of how health systems work and how healthcare is delivered and will be excited to apply your insights to the role . You r passion , proactivity , entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to deliver high-quality partnership programmes and impactful, measurable delivery will help us to achieve key goals .
