Summary of Position: Position Responsibilities: Leverage your prior in-market, launch, and pipeline experience to support commercial team in building and executing on a robust Global market insights and analytics plan Primary Market Research Execution: Lead robust insight generation initiatives compliantly to impact the creation of global commercial and brand strategies Competitive Intelligence: Manage external competitive intelligence (CI) vendors and oversee delivery of key CI outputs, including market landscapes, global congress monitoring, and clinical-stage intelligence, to identify competitive threats, opportunities, and emerging market dynamics Partner with key commercial stakeholders to plan priorities and execute deliverables for the annual brand planning process (e.g., Situational Assessment, Global Market Outlook, Market Map etc.) Stakeholder Engagement: Build key relationships with affiliate and cross-functional experts, define problems, design research, and synthesize insights to support commercial team decision making with clear crisp communication Utilize your communication and strategic skills to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to synthesize insights into frameworks from which the organization can align on strategies for launch optimization Candidate Requirements: 10+ years of experience in market insights and analytics, market research or competitive intelligence supporting the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries Project management expertise with the ability to effectively manage concurrent projects, meet critical deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. Expertise in primary and secondary research methodologies, including study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. US and Global Market Research experience preferred Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market research and competitive intelligence into actionable insights and recommendations. Proven ability to identify, select, and manage external research vendors while building strong, collaborative partnerships. Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving organizational needs and effectively reprioritize work in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated commitment to organizational values, with a strong work ethic and high standards of professionalism and integrity. Experience generating market insights to inform successful product launches, with rare disease experience preferred. BS / BA in business, management or science required. Graduate degree (MBA) and / or equivalent experience and education in strategic leadership and business preferred. Role has flexibility to be remote or local depending on successful candidate preference. Travel required for onsite competitive intelligence congress coverage and ad-hoc corporate meetings.
