We are seeking a Director, BI Reporting, Sensing & Executive Analytics to serve as the U.S.-based technical leader for a portfolio focused on transforming how leaders access, understand, and act on information. This leader will help evolve traditional business intelligence and reporting toward a more proactive, AI-enabled future by shaping the technical direction for trusted data, modern analytics platforms, intuitive digital experiences, and emerging capabilities such as generative AI and AI agents. The Director will operate at the intersection of business strategy, data, engineering, analytics, and AI, translating senior leadership priorities into technical investment choices, scalable capability roadmaps, and high-quality solutions delivered with global teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead the technical vision and roadmap for BI reporting, sensing, executive analytics, and AI-enabled decision support platforms. Serve as the U.S.-based leader for the analytics and engineering teams, guiding how data, analytics, and AI solutions are designed and scaled across architecture, platform choices, and delivery approaches. Advance next-generation analytics capabilities, including natural-language analytics, proactive insights, generative AI, and AI-agent experiences built on trusted enterprise data. Translate senior leadership priorities and complex business needs into clear technical investment choices, capability plans, and execution roadmaps. Build strong relationships with business leaders, product partners, and global delivery teams to align strategy, priorities, and adoption. Provide clear leadership visibility on progress, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and decisions needed to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. Champion strong engineering, product, and user experience practices so solutions are technically sound, intuitive, and business-relevant. Bring relevant external practices and emerging technologies into the strategy where they can create measurable value for the enterprise. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 4 years of directly related experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years of directly related experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of directly related experience In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years of experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above. Preferred Qualifications: We are particularly interested in leaders who bring deep technical credibility in data and engineering, strong executive engagement skills, and curiosity about how AI is reshaping analytics and decision-making. Leadership experience across business intelligence, analytics, data platforms, software products, or decision-support capabilities. Experience leading analytics, software engineering, and/or data engineering teams and setting technical direction for modern enterprise data and analytics environments. Ability to translate business strategy and senior leadership priorities into technical investment choices, capability roadmaps, and execution plans. Strong grounding in data platforms, analytics architecture, software delivery, and platform design, including judgment on architecture and build-versus-buy decisions. Exposure to or leadership of AI-enabled solutions, including LLM-based applications, generative AI, natural-language analytics, and AI agents. Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders in a large, global, matrixed organization. Track record of leading organizational change and helping teams move from traditional reporting toward more proactive, intelligent, and self-service ways of working. Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or another regulated industry is a plus. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
