Job Description The COAA Authors Engagement Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) authors, copyright holders, academic institutions, and scientific organizations to support the creation, maintenance, and continuous growth of the Clinical Outcome Assessments Accelerator (COAA) platform. This role serves as a primary point of contact between IQVIA and the global COA community, facilitating the collection, validation, and maintenance of information required to ensure the quality, completeness, and accuracy of COAA records. The position plays a critical role in supporting portfolio expansion initiatives by engaging directly with authors and stakeholders involved in the development and ownership of Clinical Outcome Assessments. Working closely with COAA Content, eCOA Library, Licensing Services, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams, the COAA Authors Engagement Lead helps ensure that COAA remains the industry's most comprehensive and trusted source of COA information. Essential Functions Author Engagement and Relationship Management Establish, develop, and maintain professional relationships with COA authors, copyright holders, academic institutions, and scientific organizations worldwide. Serve as a primary point of contact for author engagement activities supporting COAA. Build long-term collaborative relationships that facilitate ongoing information sharing and data maintenance. Represent IQVIA and the COAA platform within the broader COA community. Content Development and Record Creation Contribute to the identification of priority assessments for inclusion within COAA. Conduct outreach activities to collect information required for the creation of new COAA records. Coordinate with authors and stakeholders to obtain instrument documentation, metadata, publication information, and related materials. Support the development and onboarding of new content into the COAA platform. Data Maintenance and Quality Maintain ongoing communication with authors to identify instrument updates, revisions, new publications, and changes impacting existing records. Coordinate periodic reviews of COAA content to ensure information remains accurate and current. Investigate and resolve content discrepancies, missing data, and data quality issues. Support overall COAA data governance and maintenance activities. Strategic Portfolio Support Support initiatives aimed at expanding COAA coverage across therapeutic areas and assessment types. Identify emerging assessments and opportunities to enhance the COAA portfolio. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support content growth priorities and strategic objectives. Contribute insights regarding author engagement trends and opportunities. Operational Excellence Maintain tracking systems and documentation related to author engagement activities. Monitor key performance indicators related to record creation, maintenance activities, and author responsiveness. Develop and improve author engagement processes and best practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives across COAA operations. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Life Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Health Outcomes Research, Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience 5+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement, content development, scientific data management, clinical research, healthcare consulting, or related fields. Experience interacting with external experts, academic researchers, healthcare professionals, or scientific organizations preferred. Understanding of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs), patient-centered outcomes research, healthcare data, or related scientific content highly desirable.
