Position Summary The Senior Analyst (SailPoint IdentityIQ) is responsible for designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise Identity Governance capabilities across the full platform lifecycle — including application onboarding, connector and rule development, access certification programs, and production support. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, compliance partners, and security teams to design and implement scalable Identity Governance solutions, execute and continuously improve access certification programs, and ensure a secure, reliable, and compliant Identity Governance environment. The successful candidate will possess advanced SailPoint IdentityIQ expertise — spanning connector configuration, rule, workflow development, and platform troubleshooting — along with a strong understanding of access governance best practices, operational processes, and modern Identity Governance capabilities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on practitioner who enjoys solving complex business problems, designing scalable solutions, resolving production issues at the root cause, driving operational excellence, and modernizing access governance through automation, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design, build and implement scalable, sustainable, and future-ready Identity Governance solutions, enhancements, and integrations both out-of-the-box and custom. Onboard new applications and identity sources into the SailPoint platform, including Web Services Connector (WSC) configuration for REST/SOAP-based integrations. Configure and enhance identity governance processes, workflows, certification models, and governance controls. Develop custom solutions, including rules (Before/After Provisioning, Correlation, Build Map, Certification, Customization), workflows, reports, and integrations to address business requirements. Configure and maintain entitlement catalog population and Managed Attribute promotion to support certification campaigns. Partner with application and infrastructure teams to strengthen governance controls across the enterprise. Contribute to platform standardization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives. Identity Governance Operations & Support Serve as subject matter expert and support the implementation of Identity Governance program requirements. Maintain Identity Management systems and provide escalation support for system issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution. Monitor platform health, integrations, and governance processes to ensure system reliability and minimize the scope and duration of outages. Support and execute periodic platform upgrades, patching, enhancements, and configuration improvements; routinely review software to maintain current versions of applications, infrastructure, and integrations. Ensure compliance with established governance, risk, and security requirements. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve integration, provisioning, and governance-related issues. Program Collaboration & Execution Collaborate with stakeholders on IGA initiatives and service offerings. Execute and coordinate technical activities within and across groups; monitor processes and systems for potential improvements and simplification. AI & Governance Innovation Understand AI and emerging technology trends and their applicability within Identity Governance. Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI capabilities for access certifications, access recommendations, risk scoring, anomaly detection, and governance analytics. Intelligent, data-driven access review capabilities that improve efficiency and decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify innovative approaches that simplify governance processes and reduce operational burden. Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. 7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (SailPoint IdentityIQ) Advanced hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including Web Services Connector configuration and rule, workflow etc. development. Strong experience with Access Reviews, Certification Campaigns, and Access Governance processes. Experience supporting application onboarding and governance integrations. Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and governance controls. Strong understanding of security principles, access control models, and compliance requirements. Experience working in large enterprise environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Technical Skills SailPoint IdentityIQ (Advanced) Access Certifications and Governance Identity Lifecycle Management Role/Attribute-Based Access Control (RBAC) LDAP and Active Directory REST APIs and Web Services Java and BeanShell Linux and Tomcat SQL and relational databases Reporting and Analytics Identity Governance Architecture and Design Preferred Qualifications Experience with regulated environments and compliance frameworks such as SOX. Experience with AI-driven governance, identity analytics, or intelligent access review capabilities. Familiarity with ServiceNow, CyberArk, Entra ID, Ping, Apache, Unix, code repositories, and broader enterprise IAM ecosystems. Industry certifications in Identity, Security, or Governance disciplines. Key Competencies Advanced knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ architecture, core concepts, capabilities, and best practices. Strong understanding of Identity Governance concepts and access certification methodologies. Ability to design, develop, and implement scalable, supportable, and future-focused IGA solutions. Strong operational mindset with a focus on reliability, quality, and compliance. Continuous improvement and automation orientation. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and a global environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
