Job Description About the role As Product Value Lead, Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT), you will serve as the end-to-end product value leader for the PDT portfolio, shaping product and portfolio decisions to maximize commercial value across the plasma value chain. You will connect Commercial, R&D, and Operations to ensure pipeline, launch, and lifecycle strategies are commercially compelling, operationally feasible, and grounded in plasma availability, manufacturing capacity, and patient needs. You will bring commercial value thinking into product decisions early, balancing growth opportunities with supply, manufacturing, regulatory, and geographic considerations. Through enterprise-wide partnership and influence, you will help translate complex trade-offs into clear choices that strengthen portfolio value, patient access, supply continuity, and launch execution. How you will contribute Own the product value strategy for pipeline and inline assets, including positioning, differentiation, value proposition, and pricing logic. Drive product and portfolio decisions that maximize value per liter while balancing plasma availability, yield, manufacturing capacity, and demand. Embed commercial and supply considerations early in pipeline and development decision-making. Shape critical development choices, including evidence requirements, launch sequencing, geographic prioritization, and route-of-administration trade-offs. Define integrated launch and lifecycle strategies aligned with supply allocation, manufacturing scale-up, regulatory sequencing, and evidence generation. Partner with Operations to incorporate plasma forecasts, yield assumptions, and capacity constraints into commercial plans and growth scenarios. Establish global product value frameworks and strategic guardrails, partnering with regional and local operating companies to translate strategy into executable market plans. Lead cross-functional Commercial forums and collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, regions, and local operating companies to align product and portfolio decisions. Provide forward-looking product value input into long-range portfolio planning, including capacity expansion, innovation, geographic mix, and channel optimization. Identify, assess, and escalate risks and trade-offs that could affect portfolio value, patient access, supply continuity, or launch timing. What you bring to Takeda Extensive senior-level experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial strategy, product leadership, portfolio management, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of product value creation across development, launch, and lifecycle management. Demonstrated ability to integrate commercial strategy with supply, manufacturing, and operational realities. Experience leading complex global products or portfolios and making strategic prioritization and trade-off decisions. Strong financial and commercial acumen, including pricing, value optimization, demand planning, and portfolio economics. Experience collaborating effectively across Commercial, R&D, Operations, Regulatory, and regional or country organizations. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in complex, global, cross-functional environments. Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex information into clear business decisions. Proven leadership skills and the ability to build alignment without direct authority. Preferred: Experience in plasma-derived therapies, biologics, or another supply-constrained product environment. #LI-FM1 BioLife Compensation and Benefits Summary We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.
